  • Developed software using Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 C# .NET to programmatically collect and validate data from 250,000+ engineering documents for MatrixOne’s Engineering Central PDM/PLM system. The validated data was then written to each engineering documents property sheet.
  • Developed software using Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 C# .NET to automatically create Adobe PDF files of engineering documents. This application used the System.IO.FileSystemWatcher .NET class to monitor network folders for incoming engineering documents. If the engineering documents were deemed to be valid, they were moved to an Adobe Distiller watched folder to produce PDF files.
  • Created basic MSI software installation packages using Acresso InstallShield version 6 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 to install in-house developed software tools on external business partners desktop computers.
  • Repackaged commercial software, applied commercial software (updates / patches / hotfixes), and network distribution of repackaged software using New Boundary’s Prism Deploy Packager, Prism Patch Manager, and Prism Deploy respectively.
  • Used Windows Installer to managed desktop software, on targeted computers, by calling the MSIEXEC command, with the appropriate command-line parameters, from a departments Windows logon script.
  • Used New Boundary’s Prism Asset Manager to create a software and hardware inventory to assist in the planning and deployment of commercial software.
  • Followed best practices for software development defined by the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to develop and implement a Software Change Management (SCM) system for the following processes: new business software opportunities, software revision control, and support call (HelpDesk) escalation.
