We are looking for a forward thinking individual to come and work as part of our Emergency Nurse Practitioner service within the Emergency Department at the Victoria hospital, Kirkcaldy. The Nurse Practitioner’s deliver care to our minor injury flow of patients within the Minor’s section of the Emergency Department at the VHK, but there may also be a requirement to cover within the Minor Injuries Unit at the Queen Margaret Hospital.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced ENP's who have successfully completed an accredited Minor Injury, Illness and Non-medical prescribing course will be considered for this post. Candidates with only accreditation for a minor injury course will be required to complete a specific learning programme prior to progression to a Band 7. We will however consider staff with suitable experience of working within this scope of practice, who have a desire to develop and become a Nurse Practitioner.During this time you will be paid in accordance with Annex 20 arrangements for pay and banding of trainees.
You must have good verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work autonomously, plan and prioritise workloads. You must also be flexible with your shift patterns and be a team player. The Minor’s section of the Emergency Department is a great learning environment giving many opportunities for learning new skills.
This post will be rotational nights and days.

An opportunity has arisen for a District Nurse to join the community nursing teams at Leven Health Centre
You will take responsibility for facilitating and providing clinical leadership and ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing care for a patient caseload and the line management of the District Nurse team. Excellent time management and organisational skills along with a flexible approach and the ability to prioritise workload are required to enable patients to remain as independent as possible in their home.
You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to team working and ongoing professional development.
Community experience is essential and you must possess a Specialist Qualification in Community Nursing in the Home / District Nursing, District Nursing qualification, or expect to graduate with a Specialist Qualification in Community Nursing in the Home / District Nursing within the next 6 months.
You will work a combination of shift patterns including weekends, to meet the needs of the service. The post will be based in the Levenmouth area; however the post holder may be required to work in other areas in the East Division if required.

NHS Fife has an exciting opportunity for Practice Development Facilitators to work within the NHS Fife Practice and Professional Development Team. This role provides support, education and development for clinical staff and also provides generic support across a range of topic areas including clinical skills, professional and clinical leadership development working to support the wider Practice and Professional Development Programme.
There is currently 1.5 WTE hours available you should be RNs educated to degree level (or equivalent). You should also have or be working toward a certificate in teaching and learning. You will be able to evidence well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent levels of communication and have experience in teaching and facilitation. Good communication and organisational skills coupled with an ability to work within a team setting as well as independently, will be essential requirements of this post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Charge Nurse within Ward 3 Glenrothes Community Hospital which is a rehabilitation/step down unit with specialist medicine for the elderly input. You should have relevant post registration experience in a similar setting and a good understanding of the role of the Community Hospital.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, enthuse and lead the nursing team. You will be accountable for delivering on service provision, redesign and improvement to provide safe, effective, person centred care.
