Trust Committee
Draft Minutes March 25, 2014
Roll Call: Chair: Janice Rosa, Vice Chair: Phil Nazzaro, Secretary/Treasurer: Rochelle Sharples Members: John Carmichael, Patrick Marsh, Wayne Rosa and Dave Wade.
Chair Rosa opened the meeting at 7pm and welcomed guests.
Old Business: John made a motion to accept the minutes of Feb. 18. Motion seconded and passed. Secretary Rochelle abstained due to excused absence.
Dave Wade brought the plaques that were recently made up for the Riverside Cannon and the flag pole site at the Old Town Cemetery. Everyone was happy with the end results and will be put up soon.
Wayne brought site drawings from MJS of New Memorial Site for members to overview and go over changes and updates that needed to be made. Committee was in agreement with all changes.
The committee hopes to have representatives from the Public Library Trustees at the next meeting.
New Business: Nominations and Elections were held for officers and there is no change in slate of officers. Patrick made a motion to except the newly elected officers. Motion seconded and passed.
Vice Chair Nazzaro and Dave Wade spoke on information the committee received from a golf fund-raising company named “Hole in One” in reference to the Armed Forces Day Golf Tourney. It was decided by the committee with the short time frame of planning and the unknown availability at Rockingham Country Club with upcoming construction to wait till next year to do the tourney.
Patrick made a motion to adjourn. Motion seconded and passed.
