In which languages may I submit work?
Our official languages areEnglish and Afrikaans. At present, we are only able to offer programmes in these two languages. Some of our partner institutions might offer more programs in other languages but the Administration of NWMDIU prefers English and this means that all assignments, examinations, and thesesmust be submitted in English or Afrikaans. We do, however, understand that many of our students are not first-language English or Afrikaans speakers. Therefore, unless your poor English or Afrikaans makes it difficult to understand what you are saying or you could easily have corrected the spelling and grammar mistakes by using your word processor, our assessors will not to penalise you for imperfect language usage.
Will my NWMDIU qualification be acceptable overseas?
NWMDIU & Partners certification & degrees are well respected overseas, and since NWMDIU has a high level of international accreditation, affiliates and service level agreements world-wide, most foreign institutions will admit our graduates to further studies. However, each institution is sovereign with respect to which applicants it admits, so no institution, employer or ministry —local or international—is obliged to admit a NWMDIU graduate (or, for that matter, a graduate from any other institution).
Does my denomination recognise the NWMDIU qualification?
There are a number of denominations currently enrolling students at NWMDIU for their theological studies. You will need to contact the head of your denomination in order to find out if the NWMDIU degree is sufficient for their denominational requirements. NWMDIU does not ordain ministers because ordination should be done by your denomination after a probation period and when you have met your church’s requirements. If you don’t have any church membership you may apply to be ordained by NWMD – CHURCH Department after completing your studies with NWMDIU.
Some NWMDIU Qualifications might not be recognized by your country or some government departments but if you need to complete our courses for your own enrichment you are more than welcome.
(For National programs - training in SETA Accredited unit standards, is only available from our partners with Service Level Agreements like: Ikhono Funda Training or Future Performance Training but they have their own system, classes, course or training fees and issue their own certifications and we might refer your application to them according to your request or Google them and communicate with them)
NWMDIU INTERNATIONAL FAST TRACK PROGRAMS
NWMDIU Students with workand life experience may apply for (RPL) and our fast track programs or honorary awards.
Accelerated Mode
A form of program delivery which allows students to undertake and complete a program in a shorter period of time than the standard schedule allows for as you study online within your own space at your own pace..
While you study at your own pace within your own space you may complete your research within one year and pay only the following Tuition, Mentor Study Guidelines, Administrative and postal fees.(Transcripts are available for R1000 and Academic Gowns for R1200 as extra additional fees.)

Can you get credit for previous studies and life experience?
These are referred to as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)Yes, you can! You need to provide us with details of what you have done, so that we can evaluate your prior learning in the light of our programmes and advise you as to your study options. When you apply to NWMDIU or Partners, we conduct an assessment of your prior learning. If you have done additional work during your tenure as a NWMDIU student, you may apply to have a new assessment of your prior learning. The fee for a second assessment of prior learning is R600.

For students interested in Natural Medicine, Preventative Health care, Wellness, Herbal Medicine and Traditional Medicine need to register with the Traditional Medicine Council or Allied before enrolling with NWMDIU. Again get their permision to further your studies with us. Some countries is not part of the Hague Convention. Do research before you enroll with us.

- students study via Distance Learning as Home Self Studies – Registration cost only R500
- For Students from abroad, e.g.Mozambique, UK, USA, Netherlands, India and Canada etc.doing their studies via Home Self Studies and via the Internet – Registration cost $250 USD
- For Students from African Countries doing Self-studies via the Internet - Registration costs R250
- Home studies: We don't provide printed material without students covering the printing and postal fees. (Ad R500)
- Students need to download material from links we provide and through emails to follow and use our affordable program
- At the end of your study program you need to apply for graduation. If you also need transcripts together with your certification- ad and pay additional- R1000 for assessment, Administration and postal fees after completing the application for graduation form for RPL assessment.
