The new Panasonic KX-NT550 series IP telephones have launched, bringing with them the ideal combination of a wide range of features and options, and maximized performance, thanks to gigabit connections. Designed to work well in every office setting, they’re simple to set up and straightforward to maintain.

Consisting of executive terminals and a standard phone, the KX-NT550 series IP telephones deliver exceptional professional performance. The series take you to a new dimension in audio experience, thanks to excellent HD quality audio on every phone, combined with easy access to powerful supportive features and applications. The sleek, design, available in both black and white, works well with any office décor, while backlit displays add to the telephones’ ease of use.

What improvements have been made to the new version?

Packed with a host of features, the KX-NT550 series couldn’t be simpler to use, with two gigabit LAN/PC port meeting the increasing requirements of office IP networks and a self labelling feature (KX-NT556/NT553 only) making initial setting and remote maintenance easier. Both the KX-NT556 and KX-NT553 telephones can be expanded by up to 48 keys with the newly launched IP DSS console KX-NT505.

High definition audio

The KX-NT550 series of IP terminals offers best-in-class audio quality, meaning fewer repeated conversations and misheard calls. Coupled with Enhanced Echo Cancellation and an Expanded Acoustic Chamber, the KX-NT550 series of IP terminals delivers a superior audio experience to users over handset, speakerphone and optional headsets. The entire range features wideband-compliant, hearing aid compatible handsets, and built-in, high-quality speaker and microphone.

Electric Hook Switch

A built-in Electronic Hook Switch (Plantronics compliant) port allows the KX-NT550 series to have access to the Plantronics range of DECT enabled headsets. This offers portability and comfort, as frequent users are able to move around freely, without being tied down by handsets. The KX-NT560 also supports Bluetooth® headsets.

Paper label free (self-labelling) – DESI-less

Up to 36 numbers can be registered. Since the numbers are displayed on the screen, a paper label is not required (12x3 on the KX-NT556 and 12x2 on the KX-NT553). Additionally, the KX-NT551 offers eight flexible central office (CO) buttons to save time and effort.

Eco mode

Low power consumption, combined with an advanced ECO standby mode means lower energy costs.
