ENTRY LEVEL FIREFIGHTER
The firefighter announcement was released January 1, 2010. The written exam (Cognitive and Teamwork video) was administered in October 2010. The Physical Performance Test (PPT) ran from April 5 through June 24, 2011. Make-up PPT exams were held on July 12, July 26, and December 7, 2011. Further, PPT make-ups will be conducted as necessary. Your medical clearance form MUST be signed by your doctor within 60 days of your PPT test date. Medical clearance forms that are signed by your doctor more than 60 days before your scheduled PPT date, or are incorrectly filled out will not be accepted.
Final exam results from all three test components were sent to the USDOJ for review and they posed no objection to the release of the lists. Firefighter lists issued Monday December 12, 2011.
The next PPT make-up date is tentatively scheduled for May 31, 2012.
