NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION

8:30 am Continental Breakfast & Welcome
Meet at GSC Room 230, in the CIE (Center for International Education)
Review of orientation schedule and folders
IEP students and Non-IEP students will split and attend the following sessions below:
IEP Students Only9:30 am -12:00 pm, Location TBA / All Exchanges, Undergraduate, & Graduate International Students
9:00 am – 12:00 pm), TBA
English Placement Test with Ms. Jane Conzett, Director of the Intensive English Program (IEP) / Registration & Orientation
· 9:00-10:30 – Student Check-In
o Review of orientation schedule and folders
o Introductions of Interlink & Citizens of the World,
o Xavier Student Hub Demo: Username and Password/Self-Service, Pay Bill, Email, Directory, Event/Academic Calendar, Parking Pass,
o Sunapsis Check –In & Scan Passport & Visa
· 10:30 - Understanding Your Visa Status - CIE Staff (IPM collects passport & visa for scanning)
· 11:00 am - McGrath Health and Wellness & Health Insurance
Learn about Insurance requirement, All students must submit their Medical Forms, Schedule follow-up appointment if needed, Underage parental consent, and learn about the TB blood test.
· 11:30 am - Campus Police – Understanding the US Laws
· 12:00 am - Bursar Office – Paying Your Bills
· 12:30 noon -Career Development Office
1:00 pm Lunch, TBA
· Welcoming Remarks
· Introduction of CIE staff & campus partners
· IPM Student Pane/Skit
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Campus Tour with Interlink Peer Mentors (IPM)
Please take IEP students to get their All Card and Stop by McGrath Health & Wellness first. They must be back for their afternoon session by 3:00pm.
All non-IEP can continue on the tour until 3pm. All undergraduate students must attend Manresa and IPM will lead you to Cintas where Manresa will begin at 3:15pm.
Stops on the Campus Tour:
· Health & Wellness: Learn about Insurance requirement, All students must submit their Medical Forms, Schedule follow-up appointment if needed, Underage parental consent, and learn about the TB blood test.

After the Campus Tour, the groups will divide for the following sessions below:

· 5:30 pm – Wrap Up / All Undergraduate Students - Presidential Welcome at Cintas at 3:15pm | IPMs lead all undergrads to continue with Manresa.
All Exchange Students & Graduate Students may leave after the tour. Wrap-Up after the Tour with IPM. Meet at the CIE for the Optional Activity (see below) at 6pm.
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Dinner & Shopping Trip with IPM |Meet at the CIE.
