new category of immigrants in America - Russian children of the orphanage,

CHILDREN OF THE PROPHECY

The subject came to me unexpectedly and at first did not fit into the framework of the project BORNRUSSIAN - but the more I penetrated into the problem - the more I realized - this is also part of the history of our people’s immigration – and, perhaps, even more terrible than the history of political immigrants or members of the White movement since today there is no visible War in Russia - no tanks, bombs, and yet people are dying, and most importantly children, maimed with relentless force of glasses filled with vodka, cheap alcohol ...And those that survive in this hell of crazy drunken adults - are crippled for life and nothing helps bring them back to life 100 percent. The foreign adoptive parents who take away our children - compassionate and genuinely want to compensate their lost childhood - but nobody is ready to shoulder the burdens - disfigured little human, that on the outside looks beautiful, intelligent, good - inside battered by injuries and betrayals, mangled memories of abuse in Russian orphanages ...Things don’t always work and then children again lose their parents and learn to live an orphan life a second time, but now they are immigrants, though still Russian citizens, in isolation from the homeland which does not care about the fate of wounded orphans, they themselves have to build the road in a foreign country, still longing for Russia and at the same time holding their grief against the motherland. Tragically always in search of their mothers, who they are unlikely to be able to forgive and understand ...Amid all this gloom appeared an amazing image of a woman - Joyce Sterkel–who created a ranch for troubled children and with the will of God gathered together under the roof of her house lost Russian orphans.Ten years is a long time - during which hundreds of kids ranch has gone through Joyce’s Ranch, some even returned to help her with new children. She is welcoming them, she does all she can - but Joyce can not take all grown up orphans back! And that is the most important issuetoday - where would an 18 year old go after Joyce Ranch for Kids? The whole world - the enemy, the whole world - a stranger –it’s hard enough to be an orphan in your own country - but to be one in a foreign land –where you have no walls to lean on –especially devastating!Joyce bravely bears her cross - sometimes incurring condemnation and gossip –she continues to do holy work. There is no bars on the windows, no fences and security guards –with a team of dedicated teachers she manages to keep calm and a strict routine on her ranch, which is now home to 35 Russian children in age from 7 to 17. "There will be a lot of Russian people!"– predicted the local priest to Joyce, looking at the expanse of Montana with a large wooded mountains – that all came true- 10 years later, Joyce built a house and ...filled it with Russian children!"The Children of Prophecy" film will tell about the life and accomplishments of Joyce Sterkel and open the doors to the fate of Russian orphans, also will provide an opportunity to speak for anyonewho knows the grave consequences of alcoholism addiction and the effects it has onthe physical, moral and spiritual aspects of life alcoholics. In support of Joyce’s effortsto Save the Children the voices of doctors, priests, parishioners of Russian churches, the people who conquered alcoholism and those who still struggle with this problem – will join in!Only an honest public penance before our children for the sins of our deeds can turn this grief around and begin cleansing of our fallen souls –since all of us, regardless of age are CHILDREN OF THE PROPHECY!
