What: God’s Family MattersWhere: KZ-2 (cx from the kitchen)

We like to fit in. Ever since we were kids, we wanted to like the right kind of music, wear the right clothes, and use the right technology. We still do. But we were made to be different and live in such a way that it’s clear we aren’t bandwagon crowd-followers; we’re followers of Jesus. Come join us in God's Family Matters as we look at the Sermon on the Mount and hear the words of Jesus that can enable us to move us from blending into the crowd to being distinct.

What: Foundations Where: Fellowship Hall

Have you ever wondered where exactly one of the most momentous events in redemption history happened—the appearance of the God of glory and thunder on Mount Sinai where He gave Moses the Ten Commandments? For centuries church tradition located Mt. Sinai in the “Sinai” Peninsula in Egypt. Now we have compelling evidence that the traditional sight is wrong. Come and watch the thrilling story of research, exploration, and significant risk taking by two intrepid explorers who discover over a dozen significant remnants of the Biblical account in Exodus. Many scholars believe this to be one of the greatest discoveries in history. Come and be amazed as you see astonishing evidence of the historical accuracy of the Bible!

What: Conversations with Christ: Where: Prayer Room

Ten sessions of focusing on Christ through various forms of prayer. Examples include praying through scripture and waiting on Christ in silence. Class will meet in the Prayer Room, off the left front side of the sanctuary, during the 2nd Hour. This time of prayer will be facilitated by Mark McLain.
