Dear Community Member,

The Nevada Storm, Northern Nevada’s Full-Contact Women’s Football Team, would like to introduce ourselves and invite you to participate in our 2017 Season fundraising campaign.

Last year, The Nevada Storm, placed 6th in the Pacific West Division of the Independent Women’s Football League. Also, six of our players were invited to play in the 2016 All Star Game in Rock Hill, South Carolina. One of our six All-Star athletes brought home the honor of being named the MVP of the All-Star game!

Off the field, our athletes volunteer their time and have taken collections for local Northern Nevada organizations, such as Safe Embrace and Volunteers of America at our local family shelters. We are very proud of our accomplishments as individuals and as a team.

This year, we are turning to our community for support. Our sports budget is not adequate enough to cover the full amount of our team’s expenses. Not only do we “pay-to-play”, we need to fundraise and gather sponsors to help off-set team cost. All revenue generated will help purchase team equipment; cover practice and game field rental, out of league scrimmages, travel and lodging out of state.

We invite you and/or your company to become an integral part of our season. Here are a few ways you can consider donating to our organization:

• You can donate an item to be used for a silent auction or raffle prize at home games/events
• You can become a sponsor at one of our 6 levels
• You can follow us on any of our social media outlets and help spread the word about our team
