Competency framework
This framework is built around the values of the organisation, and the behaviours it wants to encourage in staff
Rating guidance
All areas are equally important. Quantity of output, quality of output and technical input will be considered when establishing the overall rating.
Evidence of your delivery of job standards will also be considered when deciding on capability markings.
If evidence is not provided by an individual, ratings can only be based on feedback visible/available to line manager from other sources.

OutstandingContribution always stands out, exceeds expectations and leads action to drive the business forward.
Very goodContribution exceeds expectations and consistently takes action to drive the business forward.
GoodContribution above expectations and occasionally takes action to drive the business forward.
Generally SatisfactoryContribution is not entirely keeping up with expectations or peers in some areas.
Needs improvementContribution to the business is consistently below expectations or peers in most areas.
