1. Read any English newspaper everyday (any two news). Try to grasp new words and build your vocabulary. Also converse in English with your family members and watch any English news channel daily for at least 15 minutes to keep yourself updated with day to day happenings.

2. Write 10 pages of neat handwriting in a separate note-book.

3. Try and compose a poem of your own on any one of the following topics.(Do in A4 size sheet)

SCIENCE

1.Prepare a presentation on different types of MICROBES (select any two) and diseases caused by it. (With chart)

2 . Prepare a chart on (use samples) (five each)

(a) Seeds of pulses (roll no 1-9)

(b) Seeds of cereals (roll no10-17)

3.Prepare a table on the vaccines you are immunized with and write a paragraph on the diseases prevented by these vaccines and symptoms of these diseases. (roll no 26-33)

4.Prepare a project on-

Houses of Eskimos and techniques used for construction of houses in earthquake and floodprone zones. (roll no 34-42)

Question no 1 is compulsory for all. Revise all the work done in copies and books of ch-1, 2, 3 & 4)

SOCIAL STUDIES

(i)Map : Find out the states of India through which the Tropic of cancer passes. (locate the states and paste the map on punch sheet)

(ii)Observe the Use of interactive maps when you travel. Find out how interactive maps work.

(iii) Many festivals mark the beginning or the end of a season. Find out about four such festivals . (punch sheet)

(iv) Do (Do and Learn ) Exercises of chapter 1,2,3and 4

*Revise all the work done prior in the class.

MATHS

Do Enrichment Activity given in the maths book on pages 37, 38, 39 and 40 on punch sheet.
Prepare the following in chart paper:

Relation / Mobile No. / 8-digit number / Indian Place Value System / International Place Value System / Smallest No. / Greatest No.

Note: Strike out the first two digits of the mobile number to make the 8-digit number and write the number names and smallest/ greatest number using the 8-digit number.

Revise the Chapters: Place Value , The Four Operations , Multiples and Factors.

COMPUTER

Do the worksheets of chapter 1 & 2 in the worksheet book.(submit the same when the school reopens)
