The Nebraska Fire Chiefs Association’s mission is to promote the fire service throughout the State of Nebraska through sponsorship of Firefighter Training Seminars and support of legislation deemed important to volunteer firefighters, volunteer emergency medical providers and the fire service in the State of Nebraska. The organization assists all fire departments by actively promoting leadership and involvement at the highest level. Through fellowship in this organization, leaders continue to learn new methods from each other to maintain well trained, professional fire departments on a local level.

Fire Departments may have several officers eligible for membership. Two types of membership, “active” and “associate” are available and are described below. Dues for each membership, whether “Active” or Associate” is $20.00 and a worthwhile investment in the Nebraska Fire Service.

Chiefs or Past Chiefs of Plant Departments / Superintendents of Fire Alarm Systems
Deputy or Assistant Chiefs / Chief Officers of Fire Prevention
Past Deputy or Assistant Chiefs / Organizations & Fire Prevention Engineers
Battalion or Past Battalion Chiefs / Officers of Fire Insurance Organizations
Master Mechanics or Superintendents of Machinery
Manufacturers of Fire Department Equipment and Fire Alarm Systems
Fire Apparatus Dealers in Fire Department Supplies
All others affiliated with the fire service in any capacity who have a sincere interest.

Renewing Members: If you are a renewing membership, simply review the enclosed roster for correct data and return the roster with payment to the NSVFA office.

New Members: This sheet is for new enrollment and requires a department name and address information and applying member’s names, preferably IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Complete postal address, phone number, and an email address are beneficial for good communications of Fire Chief’s Association dates and documents.
