NBAA 2014 Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference

New Orleans, LA January 14-17, 2014

Important Information:

Q  Educational sessions must provide content relevant to business aircraft ownership and operations and may not be specific company product updates, marketing/sales presentations, or otherwise commercial in nature.

Q  Abstracts must be submitted to NBAA by Friday, March 22, 2013.

Q  A signed volunteer speaker/presenter letter of agreement form for each proposed presenter must accompany the abstract.

Q  Abstracts and forms may be submitted via e-mail, mail, or fax to the attention of Jo Damato at the contact information provided below.

Q  Presentations will be selected based on industry need/priority and quality of the response for this Call for Entries: Speakers. NBAA will notify presenters of final selections before the event marketing materials are published.

Q  Each presenter will be responsible for his/her travel and accommodation costs. Presenters will receive complimentary registration to the event at which he/she is presenting.

Q  Your presentation may be video or audio recorded for future sale/distribution.

Q  Following the event, we may post all seminar presentations on the Association’s web site; proprietary information must not be included in presentations.

Q  Final presentations must be provided to the session coordinator at least 30 days prior to the event date.

Q  We reserve the right to change the schedule and replace the scheduled presenter with a different presenter should any deadline be missed.

·  Programs designed to attract students to a career in business aviation, sessions that help aviation employees improve upon their skill sets to enhance their performance as aviation professionals, to leadership and management development seminars that provide tools to grow in a business aviation career.
Industry Update
·  Topics relevant to all business aviation professionals, from government affairs issues through NBAA Committee and Strategic Focus Team activities that address industry-wide challenges and opportunities.

NBAA Letter of Agreement

Volunteer Speaker/Presenter

(Each proposed presenter is required to sign and submit this form prior to NBAA considering your speaking proposal.)

1)  If NBAA selects my presentation, I agree to present at the NBAA event indicated in this Call for Speakers response. My presentation will cover information/topics proposed by me and agreed to by NBAA.

2)  During my presentation, I will not engage in any type of promotional marketing or selling of any product or services.

3)  I agree to notify NBAA’s Jo Damato immediately via email () or telephone (202-478-7763) in the event that an emergency should prevent me from meeting my obligations as a presenter.

4)  I grant to NBAA a royalty-free license to use, reproduce and distribute my presentation (including video and/or audio recording of my presentation, all handouts and PowerPoint presentations) in any way in the future, with appropriate attribution to me. I understand that this license does not change the fact that I retain copyright ownership of my presentation, and does not prohibit me from using my presentation in any way or from allowing others to use it.

5)  To the best of my knowledge, my presentation and handout materials do not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including any copyright, trademark and privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful. I have the full authority to enter into this agreement and have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses from any individuals or organizations whose material is included or used in my presentation and/or handout materials.

6)  I authorize NBAA to use my name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of the program.

7)  I provide consent for NBAA to record my presentation in audio and/or visual form. In understand that NBAA will be the sole copyright owner of the recording and can distribute and sell it, along with any supporting materials.

8)  I will be responsible for all travel arrangements and expenses that I incur. I understand that I will not receive any royalties, honoraria, reimbursement of expenses, or other compensation from NBAA in connection with the program or the rights granted above.
