The Kings Bay Submarine Officers’ Spouses’ Association along with the Kings Bay Chiefs’ Spouses will be hosting its 28th Annual Celebration of the Kings Bay Silver & Gold Auction. We are Celebrating 28 Years of Charitable Traditions and are asking for your support to ensure our success! The Event will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base Fitness Center. Our auction benefits the Dolphin Scholarship Foundation (DSF) and local 501[c] [3] charities. DSF was founded over fifty years ago to provide financial assistance for college bound students. Recipients of the Dolphin Scholarship are the sons and daughters of submarine service members. Last year we provided a significant portion of the auction proceeds to help financially assist 115 scholars and donated over $5,650 to 17 local charities! This would not have been possible without sponsorship or donations.
The success of our event significantly depends on the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of sponsors and donors. Our charity auction, which includes a silent and verbal auction, has previously drawn over 330 Naval Officers, Chiefs, and Navy supporters. The evening provides a wonderful opportunity to advertise your business to the Navy community while helping to support this worthy cause. We enthusiastically ask for your support in the form of contributions and/or donations!
There are many ways to support this event and one of the most important is to become an event sponsor. There are three sponsorship opportunity levels. All levels of sponsorship include advertising in our multimedia presentation. Depending on the level of sponsorship, you may have your logo displayed, have promotional items distributed to attendees, as well as receive free admission to the auction! Enclosed is a list of sponsorship opportunities detailing the benefits and incentives of each level. Don’t see a package that meets your needs? We can also custom design a sponsorship package just for you. Your generosity is critical to the success of our charity event.
Your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. The Submarine Officers’ Spouses’ Charitable Association is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Georgia Charitable Organizations Registration Number is CH-005107. Our Florida Solicitation Registration Number is CH14789. Our Federal Tax ID Number will be provided with your receipt and letter of gratitude acknowledging your sponsorship contribution, or upon your request.
In order for us to continue hosting this charity auction, we need your support as a sponsor. Please consider joining us in Celebrating 28 Years of Charitable Traditions, keeping alive an auction steeped in long-standing traditions, volunteerism and philanthropy. To receive all the benefits sponsorship includes, contributions need to be received no later than February 10th, 2018.
