An idea was shared to give the scholarship to a non-athletic, non- academic student to receive the scholarship. It was also suggested about getting culturally relevant books to the different schools to update the libraries. Using funds for the Native clubs was something that was not really discussed, everyone seemed to be in consensus about the scholarship. / Suzanne will send out an e-mail for a sub-committee to decide on the terms and conditions of a scholarship to present to the NAPAC.

Also, there was great discussion of getting a better turn out of students for the art contest. It was suggested to get prizes for the winners. Suggestions were art supplies, gift cards, taking the winning art work to the fair, or the Indian cultural center for display. Or maybe getting a committee to vote on the art work earlier and then have a display such as a mini art gallery.
It was also suggested for the NAPAC to sell food since it is such a great way to earn money at the Pow Wow. / Suzanne will send out an e-mail to see who is interested in the different sub-committee’s for the Pow Wow.
Leigh Thunder has already agreed to be in charge of the vendors.
