“EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGNS AND SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION OF ACCESS ROADS, BRIDGES AND CULVERTS.”
- Background Information
The Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Authority (AFFA) is a State Corporation established under Section (3) of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Authority Act of 2013. The Mission of the Authority is to regulate, develop and promote crops for socio-economic empowerment.
AFFA intends to select eligible Consultants for Expression of Interest (EOI) from Engineering Consultancy Firms for design and Supervision of construction works for minor access roads, bridges and culverts.
- Scope of Work
These will include but will not be limited to:
(i)Preparation of detailed designs and tender documents.
(ii)Assistance in evaluation of bids.
(iii)Supervision of construction works until issuance of the performance certificate to the contractor(s) after expiry of the Defects Notification Period
- Eligibility
Firms wishing to be considered for the assignment are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Designs and Supervision of construction of access roads, bridges and culverts which should include the following at the minimum;
(i)Company profile or profiles of companies in the consortium.
(ii)Registration documents of a Company or Joint Venture.
(iii)Key Personnel capabilities with at least ten (10) years’ experience in relevant areas namely Civil Engineering, Project Management, Concrete Works, Structural Engineering,
(iv)List of past assignments in planning and design of road and bridge works and supervision of construction of in the last five years.
(v)Audited Accounts for the Company (or of the Lead Company in the case of Joint Venture) for the last two years.
(vi)Evidence of valid tax compliance certificate.
(vii)Evidence of ability to mobilize sufficient funds for supervision of this project.
Completed Expressions of Interest should be submitted to the Authority enclosed in plain sealed envelopes,one original and two other copies clearly marked ‘’Original” and ‘’Copy’’ with the Tender Name and Reference Number:
