Estefania Monroy

Estefania Monroy is a Senior Financial Analyst Business Major at The University of Texas at El Paso. She is the current President of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) for El Paso Chapter.

Combining a mix of professional leadership development, relationship management and business strategy has proudly served the chapter for the past three years.

She was an intern in the College Program for the office of New York Life at El Paso where she provided ongoing service and support to clients. Estefania also served the Student Government Association as a Collegiate Business Senator in his junior year. Originally raised in Mexico, she moved to Texas to start a new life and improve in her professional field. She is Bilingual in Spanish and English. Estefania currently lives at the south of Texas in the city of El Paso.

Dr. Hubert D. Glover, CRMA, CGMA, CRISC, CIA, CMA, CPA, Ph.D.

Dr. Glover chairs the accounting department at Drexel University LeBow College of Business. He also served as a Dean’s Fellow supporting the College’s AACSB 2015 Accreditation efforts. He is also working on various initiatives with Executive Education to provide customized courses to corporate clients.

Dr. Glover has more than 35 years of experience in management and leadership. This includes both the private sectors where his leadership roles included tenure as a CEO of a joint venture with Shell Oil and as a CEO for a subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dr. Glover’s leadership portfolio also included the public sectors serving as the chair of the accounting department for the School of Business at Howard University (both accredited by the AACSB) and leading small businesses to provide services for major federal agencies such as DOE and NASA

Dr. Glover currently serves as the chair of the Professionalism & Ethics Committee American Accounting Association (AAA) ( He also recently served as chair of the Student and Academic Subcommittee committee for ISACA the global IT organization ( ) and member of the Board of Trustees for the Financial Executives Research Foundation ( He is also just completed a term on the Finance Committee for the AAA and will begin a term of service for the Professionalism and Ethics Committee.

He also served service on the Blue Ribbon Panel for Private Company Standard Setting (AICPA/FAF/NASBA) which presented its recommendations to FAF and led to the Private Company Council formation. Dr. Glover formerly served on the Boards of Directors for the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) ( ) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) ( As part of his role on the BOD for the IMA he served on their COSO committee which helped update the Internal Control Framework which goes into effect in 2015.

Dr. Glover also serves as a co-founder of REDE Inc. ( ) established in 1998 and provides institutional support and consulting services to federal agencies including NASA, USDA, Commerce, EPA and Department of Energy. REDE has an employee base of more than 200 employees providing institutional support services throughout the U.S.

Dr. Glover has written more than 50 articles for trade publications, professional organizations and academic journals in the areas of organizational change, auditing and business education.

Dr. Glover has earned the following professional distinctions: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Information Systems and Control (CRISC), Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Certification in Risk Management Assessment (CRMA).

Dr. Glover also recently co-authored a leadership book, Giraffes of Technology—The Making of a 21st Century Leader

Ingrid Centurion

Ingrid Centurion is the founder of Centurion Technologies Consulting, LLC. She is a retired U.S. Army Officer, Master Aviator and Army Program Manager. Ingrid brings a proven history of personal integrity, unmatched experience and success. She has successfully led U. S. Military programs with annual budgets in excess of $20M. Ingrid is a recognized subject matter expert in manned and unmanned intelligence gathering systems with proven success during U.S. Army combat missions in addition to leading collaborative engagements with multiple Federal Law Enforcement Agencies to protect continental U.S. borders. Ingrid offers over 22 years of proven leadership experience. Served as the Science and Technology Officer under NORTHCOM assessing air, ground and subterranean capabilities. Product Manager to QinetiQ North America for the Tactical Robotic Controller, a wearable controller that operates UAVs, UGVs, UUVs and monitors UGSs for dismounted operations. CEO of Feder Aerospace, a startup company that supported the advanced development of air and ground unmanned systems integration and operations.

Centurion Technologies Consulting LLC is a Management, Scientific, and Technical Consulting Services company that supports government and private sector customers. CTC focuses on solving the most challenging client issues. With a virtual staff of key subject matter experts CTC solutions are driven by the "Art of the Possible“ exploiting cutting edge technologies. The company’s expertise focuses on: marketing and communications to improve sales, niche advanced technologies across a spectrum of sectors, and systems software configuration management/software development. CTC’s mission is to transform enterprises through the use of networking, technology, education, and training.

Jayronn Orlando Hosey

Jayronn Orlando Hosey currently works in the Bank Debt Management group at Barclays, supporting Leverage Finance operations. He started his career in finance interning at Morgan Stanley in New York City, while attending college. His career path has developed across numerous firms such as PNC Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and recently Barclays with a background spanning across the Corporate Finance and Lending segment with experience in Commercial Banking, Credit Risk, Investment Banking Operations and Leverage Finance.

Mariam Tahir

Mariam Tahir is a senior Economics’ student at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. An active ALPFA member for 4+ years, she is the Vice President at her student chapter. She previously held the position of Director of Marketing at Rutgers University and Brookdale Community College.

In addition to her academics and leadership positions at school, she managed Accounts Receivable at a freight company for 3 years. Thankful for the experience, she learned a lot about multi-tasking, balancing school and work, using new accounting software and making tough phone calls to companies to pay their bills.

Later, she interned at JPMorgan Chase & Co as a Summer Analyst in Corporate Risk Governance. She gained experience in waking up at 4 a.m., presenting effectively, working to improve communication between senior management and ten Line of Businesses, and the importance of detail orientation and consistency.

All in all, her experiences have taught her to promise within her means and deliver beyond expectations, and it’s okay to be an overachiever.

Michelle Arencivia

Born to Cuban exiles in the suburbs of New York City, Michelle Arencivia went on to accomplish a great deal in various industries.

From her earliest career in real estate development, she served as Assistant Treasurer – Political Action Committee at the nation’s oldest trade association for wine, Wine Institute. After her tenure in government affairs, Michelle went on to participate in the United Nations investigation into the North Korea mission. From the United Nations, Michelle took a role in education management and has Director level experience in U.S. domestic and global institutions.

Michelle holds a B.B.A. in Business Management & International Business from Florida International University. She concurrently earned a Certificate in Latin American studies from FIU and an Honors Certificate in Spanish from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca Spain. As a William Randolph Hearst Award Recipient, Michelle completed her MBA at the Thunderbird School of International Management.

In her spare time, Michelle holds a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification, runs half-marathons and passionately visits new international locals

Raymond Ortiz, II, MBA

Raymond Ortiz, II is a financial services professional and currently a Consultant in Ernst & Young's Wealth Management Advisory practice.He began his career at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a Portfolio Manager & Financial Planning Specialist before transitioning to JP Morgan Chase as VP-Investments. His final role in front

office wealth management was as an Investment Manager at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management specializing in providing recommendations and developing investment strategies to assist clients in accessing the capital markets.
Raymond attended Cornell University and graduated with a BS in General Studies with a concentration in Biology.

He then pursued his masters at Cornell University and graduated with an MPA in Public Administration. As a graduate student he was recognized for his commitment to academics and community service and was inducted into the Order of Omega.
Due to his commitment to education and scholarly research, he completed his Executive MBA at Rutgers Business School with a double major in Finance and Accounting. Concurrently he is also earning his Ph.D. in Budgeting and Nonmarket Organization Finance in the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Management in the College of Business and Public Administration at Kean University.
He is engaged in community projects, organizations and outreach including: Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. and NSHMBA. He served as Chairman of the BOT for CASA of Ocean County, NJ. He is an active member of Mt. Zion Lodge #135 and the Knight of Columbus Council #3272. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. He also acts as Membership Chair for the Cornell Class Alumni Council.
He is passionate about philanthropic organizations, community service, art, photography, outdoor sports, and academic research.
