Napa County RCD Directors’ Environmental Conservation Scholarship
The Napa County Resource Conservation District is a non-regulatory agency whose mission is to promote responsible watershed management through voluntary community stewardship and technical assistance.
Purpose
This scholarship is to assist a graduating high school or Napa Valley College student with studies in the field of natural resource management or other related environmental fields.
Eligibility
· applicant must be a graduating senior at a Napa County public or private high school
or
· a Napa Valley College student going on to a four-year college
· applicant must be accepted or registered at a post-secondary educational institution
· applicant must have an expressed interest in pursuing studies in the field of resource management/environmental conservation or similar field
· consideration will be given to students who have participated in RCD volunteer activities, such as creek cleanups, Earth Day, water quality monitoring, or possible internships
Award
Scholarship of $500 for one year
Application Deadline
Application must be submitted to the Napa County RCD by 5pm on March 31, 2017
