The Nano Nagle Scholarship

The Nano Nagle Scholarship was awarded for the first time in 2015 for the 2016 school year and was initiated by a benefactor of the College. The recipient of the prize will be entering Year 12 in 2018.

Benefit

A $4000 scholarship to be allocated towards fees, will be awarded to a student for her Year 12 year of study.

Eligibility

All Year 11 students will be eligible to apply. Applicants will prepare a submission in two parts:

  1. An essay of 500 words describing the relevance of Nano Nagle’s story and mission in the year of application and beyond.
  2. A Statement of what the awarding of the Scholarship would mean for the applicant.

The Selection Process

Applications will be shortlisted and these will be submitted for final selection to the Nano Nagle Scholarship Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee will be led by the Principal and a member of the local community e.g. member of the Board, Alumnae, person involved in local youth affairs.

*If a student is a current scholarship recipient and they are awarded the Nano Nagle Scholarship the amount of greater value will be applied as no student may hold two scholarships.
