Post-assessmentAssess children after they have had instruction on how to handle situations and express their feelings. / Provide and explain examples from laminated farm animal picture cards as to how to resolve conflictions. Give instructions and model suggestions from the cards as needed for individual students. Demonstrate how Clara the Cow puppet handles difficult situations and assist with solutions. Provide multiple explanations and model correct solutions to different situations.

Post-assessment Assess children after they have had instruction in cutting with scissors while cutting simple shapes. / Provide sample of simple animal shapes that have been colored, cut, and glued onto construction paper.Give instructions and change directives as needed for individual students. Demonstrate and assist with coloring, cutting, and gluing. Provide multiple explanations and model correct holding and cutting of scissors. Use guiding scissors to assist children unable to accomplish task independently.
