INTRODUCTION:
The activities reported were implemented in 3 stations [places] namely:
N’gwono Community Based Organization
Small Homes Sigomre.
East Uholo women CBO
During the implementation the following activities were carried out:
SMALL HOMES SIGOMRE:
This is a home for the physically handicapped and the following support was given to them.

NB: For the IGA project the parents welfare purchased chicks to start a poultry project. This will be beneficial to the school because the proceeds from the sale of eggs or the chicken will be used to assist the needy students acquire some needs like the purchase of uniforms and books.
N’gwono CBO

EAST UHOLO WOMEN GROUP CBO
East Uholo women is a community based group working in east uholo location, they support OVC at small home and adjacent areas to the small home with garden activities, that provide the small home OVC with vegetables, and maize to sustain the feeding activity at the small home

ACHIEVEMENTS:
The students supported with uniforms are now neat and are in school
Improved performance for the supported students. This is because they have been in school without being absent.
The small homes community appreciated so much because the support came at a time when they didn’t have food in store and were therefore being forced to close the school earlier.
The guardian supported with a goat is happy and has promised to take care of the goat well so that the kids borne from the goat can be given to other guardians
CHALLENGES:
High poverty levels in the community making the needs of the OVC’S to be multiple
High number of orphans because of the high death rate caused by HIV/AIDS
Because of the above reasons there is need for more funding to reach more needy children
