Kindergarten through 8th grade experience, case management of individual students; psychological and educational evaluations of school aged students, participation in MET and IEP meetings, facilitation of individual and/or group counseling sessions; collaboration with experienced school psychologists and professional teaching & support staff; exploration of personal areas of interest as appropriate.

Please describe how supervision is provided to interns in your district:

Supervision is a minimum of two hours a week face to face with additional time as needed by phone, email or in person. The supervisor will read all METs prior to meetings being scheduled, and will attend all initial meetings for support and feedback. Each supervision session will focus on case consultation, policies and procedures and anything else that the intern and supervisor deem important at that time. Supervision is scaffolded so that the most support is provided at the beginning of the experience with somewhat less the second half of the year, based on the intern's growth.
