Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Pharmacology for over 45 years at Cairo University.
Helping to develop and modernise Pharmacology curricula at the Faculty of Pharmacy, CairoUniversity, as well as in some Arab countries (Aleppo, Syria and Amman, Jordan).
Attending international seminars on Pharmacology teaching at IUPHAR Conferences.
Changing lecture-based teaching to problem-solving teaching and adapting student evaluation to that effect.

Activities related to IUPHAR

Suggested reduction of dues of Third World countries to IUPHAR Conferences. Suggestion was approved and adopted.
Helped to organise First IUPHAR Workshop on Clinical Pharmacology in the Arab World. Workshop was successfully held in Alexandria in February 2004-08-27.
Actively participated in Executive Committee meetings since joining it in 2002.
Is actively involved in promoting IUPHAR objectives in Arab and African countries.
