Recent Migrants: Slums, one room shacks made of cardboard, lack electricity and running water, streets seldom paved, little to no work

Working poor: low paying jobs, live in working class neighborhoods, cinderblock houses, streets paved but under poor repair.

21. How might the difference in job opportunities for the middle class and upper class influence their lifestyles?

Middle class is more likely to have jobs regarding business, education, in the government, allowing the families to afford some luxuries but also struggling to maintain middle-class standard of living.

Upper class is more likely to have jobs as a leader, doctor, or lawyer. This allows the families to afford luxuries such as a maid or a lawn service and a nice house built out of good material.
