I have been based inHong Kong(9 years) and Singapore(11 years) but also working on assignments across Asia in a range of countries including Hong Kong, PR China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand, UAE Dubai and also servicing clients in other countries.

Experience covers a wide range of complex construction projects in building, civil engineering, marine, oil storage and M & E/MEP involvement. Building experience includes residential accommodation, university facilities, high end office developments, hospitals, hotels, stadiums, exhibition centres, laboratory complexes, industrial warehouses, rail stations, fuel installations, refurbishment and minor works.

In particular I was involved with MEP claims and contractual issues for clients on the Changi Airport Terminal 3 Project. More recently I am becoming involved in Changi T5 Works.

I assisted with loss and expense claims on a major plant/petrochemical project in Indonesiathroughout 2006 and during 2007/2008advisingand assisting clients with claims in the Middle East on the Dubai Airport Expansion Project (Terminal 3) on MEP issues.

I am also retained by a number of clients in an advisory role for the currency of several major construction projects including hospitals and infrastructure work in Singapore and have become increasingly involved with projects where there are disputes concerning alleged defective works and the costs of potential remedial actions required.

Special interests are commercial/contractual and claims managementincluding dispute avoidance and resolution, particularly using ADR methods such as the mediation process and partnering.
