Motion 1: 2010 Show Budget

2010 Show Committee Chair, Melissa Kelly, has submitted the following budget for the 2010 National Show

Motion 2:2009 Sweepstakes Award Budget

Sweepstakes Chair, Cheryl Rafoth, has requested a budget of $350 to purchase awards for the 2008-2009 Sweepstakes Year. Awards will be purchased for 1st-10th in Overall Open & Youth Contests and Certificates printed for 1st-3rd in the Variety and District Contests.

I'd like to recommend the appointment of Marion Popkin to the Newsletter Committee.Marion will be assisting with ad design for those members who need ads designed for the newsletter.

Motion 1: Youth Contest Awards

The Youth Committee would like to recommend Visa Cash Cards for awards for the youth drawing/photo/essay contests at the National Show. Denominations would be $20 for first places, $15 for second places, & $10 for third places in each category/division.

Lynne Schultz has asked to step down as the Chair of the Fundraising Committee. I'd like to recommend the appointment of Nita Shannon as Fundraising Chair and Joe Horecek as Assistant Chair.

Motion 3: Discounted Advertising Rates for Specialty Clubs

I'd like to recommend that the club offer discounted rates to local Lionhead Specialty Clubs that would like to advertise their club and/or upcoming shows in their area. Rates would be:$45 for Full Page, $25 for Half Page, $15 for Quarter Page, No discount will be offered for business card ads.

Results of Motion for 3-30-10

Motion 1: Replacement judge for 2010 NALRC National Show

Due to Randy Schumaker being double booked for the weekend of our National Show, we have had to secure an alternate judge.I amasking board approval to hire Eric Bengston as our fourth judge for our 2010 NALRC National Show. His bid is $200 plus 2 nights hotel.
