Chef Trish Tracey is ready to open and operate Myriad Gastro Pub in San Francisco. Myriadwill be at the heart of this unique San Francisco dining culture, offering a comfortable gathering place where friends and family can come together and enjoy food to nourish the soul.
Myriad will be a Gastro Pub. Gastro pub or gastro lounge refers to a bar and restaurant that serves elevated food and beverages in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Myriad will be located inthe Mint Plaza in the SoMadistrict of San Francisco.Myriadwill be a neighborhood gathering place featuring: globally inspired, thoughtfully sourced San Francisco cuisine. We’ll be offering a menu of simply prepared, boldly flavored seasonal dishes, paired with a creative wine list, craft beers and inspired cocktails. We believe in creating an environment where combining the best ingredients, served by knowledgeable staff in a cozy atmosphere results in our customers wanting to come back for more.
I chose the name Myriad because we are lucky enough to live and work in the best culinary city on earth. San Francisco offers myriad possibilities to chefs, restaurateurs and diners alike. We have all we could want at our fingertips—everyday—all the best the Bay Area has to offer. From the diverse produce to amazing wines from nearby Napa and Sonoma to the hand crafted local beers and spirits—we have it all! The possibilities are endless!
Chef Trish Tracey as the managing partner of Myriad Gastro Pub proposes to create, open and operate a San Francisco Gastro Pub in SoMa, San Francisco. Myriad will target local San Francisco clientele as well as diners from the greater Bay Area and tourists alike. The restaurant will target both local and destination patrons with a focus on repeat business through our personal touch, mid-range menu pricing, warm and inviting atmosphere and attention to guest satisfaction. Myriad will feature a full service dining room and bar.
As she done numerous times in the past, she will operate a financially responsible and profitable establishment. This will be accomplished through market analysis and strategic market placement, through ongoing analysis of our business practices and through responsible fiscal accounting procedures. Trish has assembled a team of Bay Area professionals with whom she has worked on numerous projects to great success. (See page 5 for description of the team)
The vision for Myriad is to develop a dynamic yet casual Gastro Pub.The goal is for our guests to feel welcome and at home regardless of the occasion. Myriad’s warm and friendly atmosphere will encourage frequent and repeat business as well as celebrations and special occasions. We intend to accomplish this goal by offering a relaxing dining experience while providing delicious and memorable food, wine and spirits and with knowledgeable service offered with warmth and hospitality.
The cozy atmosphere will incorporate modern yet relaxed touches that come from a mix of vintage accents put together with warm and rustic finishes which may include, brick, steel and wood. The end result will be a space that encompasses the warmth of the local pub with the sophistication of the San Francisco style dining scene. A combination of personally chosen art pieces, wood planked floors, comfortable chairs, and booths, and some thoughtfully chosen lighting fixtures will welcome patrons and set the tone for relaxation and a memorable dining experience. The walls will be accented with a collection of rustic art pieces as well as antique style mirrors to add that touch of home.The restaurant will incorporate the creative design talents of Trish Tracey and Jim Maxwell of the San Francisco based architectural firm Architects II.
Trish Tracey as the managing partner is the greatest competitive advantage of Myriad Gastro Pub. Her high degree of skill in operating restaurants make her the ideal managing partner and chef to bring Myriad to life and to operate an enduring and profitable San Francisco restaurant. Her reputation in San Francisco and the Bay Area as well as her intense passion and commitment to the culinary arts and people led 192 people to back her project on Kickstarter where she raised over $63,000 to jumpstart Myriad Gastro Pub. She is prominent in the San Francisco restaurant community with extensive professional, creative and managerial experience in operations and concept development. She has over 20 years of restaurant experience with a long record of success in the day to day operations, financial
management and development of some of the finest Bay Area restaurants-Roti, ThirstyBear and Momo’s to name a few.

Myriad Gastro Pub’s mission is to provide a memorable dining experience, of delicious, approachable and boldly flavored food, thoughtfully sourced beer, wine and inspired cocktails coupled with intuitive and friendly service, in warm and cozy atmosphere.
We offer high quality, moderately priced, creative menus using the best ingredients prepared with integrity and passion. We view ourselves as partners with our customers, our employees, our community and our environment.Our goal is moderate growth, annual profitability and maintaining our sense of fun. All of this comes through putting together the right team and taking personal care of our guests.
The Management Team will accomplish this through the hiring, training and ongoing education of a staff of highly skilled and dedicated personnel. We believe that a restaurants’ soul is defined by its passionate and experienced management and trained personnel. To this end, management will take a hands-on approach to guiding and educating our staff. We will be the fun and relaxing restaurant with great food and beverages for all of the techies getting off of work, the San Francisco natives on their way to the ball game and the local neighborhood residents who are psyched to grab a great meal in a friendly and relaxing environment in their own hood!
Myriad will be the local neighborhood hotspot of choice for urban professionals in our community who value a high a quality food and beverage experience. In this SoMa location we are in the cross hairs of the downtown tourist district and the SoMa professional and convention center districts. We will welcome and court the greater Bay Area residents and tourists while keeping our main focus on being a local’s hangout.
We believe that it is possible to provide our guests with an experience that they will remember and will want to share with their friends and associates. We further believe that it is an attainable goal to provide this experience in a way that is beneficial to the restaurant and its investors as well as our employees and community.
