Approve Members who have registered via an Online Registration Process
  1. Menu Mode: Organisation.
  2. Members/Configuration Set Up/Membership Products
  3. Select Tab: Approve Members
  4. Member Sign Up: Select All – Or you can select your Individual Registration Forms from the drop down list – For example: 2015 Junior Registration Form.
  5. Select Green Button – Go
  6. Your players awaiting approval will be displayed.
  7. You can select them all or tick on each one under the Approve Heading
  8. Once Selected: Select Update button
  9. Your Members have been approved and will now appear on your Registration Manger List.


Bulk Imports of Custom Fields
(all questions answered by participants via Online Registrations)
  1. Competition Participation
  2. Players/Bulk Player Import.
  3. Select: Custom Fields for Role.
  4. You will need to do separate reports for juniors and seniors. Select seniors first.
  5. Template preview: Fields & Validations rules: Check All
  6. Push Refresh
  7. Participation Filtering Options.
  8. Tick to Include Participant Data.
  9. Role: Select Player
  10. Parent Org: Select Wanneroo Districts Netball Association.
  11. Let the page refresh itself on its own – it will do once you select WDNA as per above.
  12. Then Select: 2015
  13. Type: Any Type
  14. Select: Download Import File Template.
  15. Chose which download format you wish.
  16. Select: OK


Create I.D. numbers and logins for the MyNetball Database

  3. Person Role: You have the following choices: Player/Contact/Umpire/Team Official
  4. Select the role you wish to search. In most cases you would be looking to advise your players their login so you would use the Player Role search.
  5. Push “search persons”
  6. A List of all of the players will be displayed (if you chose the role of Players)
  7. You can search for a particular players name by entering the surname in the “Quick Filter”
  8. If the persons email address is incorrect push the “Edit” button next to the player’s name. If the players email is correct go straight to step 12.
  9. Enter the correct email address – push update.
  10. You will receive an error message if some of the mandatory data is missing these are normally as follows:
  11. Next of Kin – Emergency Contact – Name: If this is missing just enter “PP” in the field.
  12. Next of Kin – Emergency Contact – Phone: If this is missing just enter “PP” in the field.
  13. In which country were you born: If this field is missing enter “Undisclosed”
  14. Default Shirt/Bib Number: Enter 0 (number 0)
  15. Select Update
  16. To send user ID # and password:
  17. Competition Participation/People/Participant logins
  18. Select the person you wish to send logins for by “clicking” on the box to the left of their name.
  19. Actions: Please select bulk action
  20. Choose your option via the drop down box.
  21. In this case we want to “create a login”
  22. Push – perform action.
  23. An email will be sent to the person you selected advising them of their user ID number and login.
  24. The user will then turn green which means their login has been created.
  25. Most problems are caused because the email address is incorrect or does not have one on MyNetball.

What if the Person does not show on my Player List to give a login to: for example they are not a member of my Club in MyNetball and I don’t know if they are currently in the MyNetball Database system:

  1. Competition Management
  2. People/Add a new person
  3. Enter the First Name and the Last name of the Player, it is preferred that you have the date of birth as well.
  4. If you have the date of birth – Select show Extra Filtering
  5. Enter the year of Birth of the player
  6. Push the Search button
  7. If the person you are looking for does not display you can move to CREATE NEW PERSON – this will take you to a new screen.
  8. OR if the Person is displaying you can transfer them into your club – it is a suggestion that you should transfer the person from the highest level for example if the person is displaying at both a club and Association transfer them in from the Association.
  9. You can transfer a person into your club (note this is just a database transfer which means you have access to their data).
  10. By the person’s name it will show the various organisations that have access to the person’s data. You will see the words Add to (the name of your club) under the transfer button. Select this button.
  11. This will take you to a separate screen
  12. You will see a note to say: Are you sure you don’t need to apply for a Clearance – the answer to this is No.
  13. The screen will show what roles they currently have with different organisations.
  14. Select: Transfer this person to: Should display as the name of your Club.
  15. Role: Select the Role of the person you are looking to transfer for example Player, Team Official (Umpire/Coach) Office bearer etc.
  16. You will now need to select the sub role – for example Senior, Junior, Veteran or NetSetGo
  17. Push the transfer button – you will receive a confirmation message advising you this has been done.
  18. You cannot edit any of the data for this player for a period of 5 days.
  19. Once the 5 days have passed you will be able to issue a login for the person and can follow the steps at the beginning of the create login notes.

Create a Player Registration List via MyNetball Registration Manager
  1. Competition Manager.
  2. Players/Registration Manager.
  3. Person Role – Select Player
  4. Club – Select Wanneroo Districts Netball Association.
  5. Registration Period: 2015.
  6. Registration Type: Do a separate report for each Registration Type:
  7. Junior
  8. Senior
  9. Non-Playing
  10. Volunteer – There are two volunteer options – use the one at the bottom of the list.
  11. Registration Mode: Show All – This will give you Primary and Secondary Registrations.
  12. Note: A Secondary registration is someone who is already registered via Netball WA before registering with a Club. (see notes below)
  13. For example this could be a State League Player or a State League Umpire who has already paid their registration to Netball WA so only club fees will be due. The only exception to this would be if a State Player plays at another Region to that of West Coast Netball Region you will need to include the Region fee of $10.00.
  14. This would also include any Umpires that are registered players for other clubs but are umpiring for a different club – as long as the Umpire is registered to a Wanneroo Districts Netball Association Club no fees are due they would only need to have the role Umpire within your Club.
  15. Select Search
  16. Your list of players will be displayed on the screen.
  17. At the bottom of the list of players you will see “Download Data” push this and the list will be available to download in excel format.

Secondary Registrations:
Clubs who do have secondary registrations can call up a list of these people by:

  1. Competition Management.
  2. Players/Registration Manager
  3. Person Role: Any Role
  4. Select Any Sub Role
  5. Association – Wanneroo Districts Netball Association
  6. Registration Type: Any Type
  7. Registration Mode: Select Secondary from the drop down list
  8. Push Search
  9. A List of people that have secondary registrations will be displayed.
  10. These are people that are currently registered with Netball WA via other Associations or Regions.
  11. If a player is registered via another region then only the West Coast Netball Region Fee component of $10.00 would need to be charged.


De-register a player up until the 1st of May 2015

Each club can deregister their players up until 1st May 2015. After this date deregistration’s can be made on application to the WDNA Office subject to the player having played no games during our winter season.

  1. Menu Mode: Competition Management.
  2. Players/Registration Manager
  3. Person Role – Select Player
  4. Registration Type: Select Any Type
  5. Registration Period: 2015
  6. Select Search - A list of all registered players will be displayed.
  7. You can search manually
  8. Or you can search via the Quick Filter (right hand side) : Insert Surname, hit enter
  9. Select the player you wish to deregister by clicking on the box to the left of their name.
  10. Actions: Choose De-Register from the drop down list.
  11. Push Perform Action.
  12. Message will display confirming player has been de-registered.
  13. Sometimes you will receive an error message – saying unable to be de-registered.Keep trying to de-register – it will eventually accept it.
  14. If the error message continues to be displayed
  15. Please select Edit that is displayed next to the person’s name.
  16. This will take you to a separate screen.
  17. Under the grey headings you will see a Registration Tab – Select this Tab.
  18. Current Registrations will be displayed and will show the following:
  19. Club the Player is registered to
  20. The Association the player is registered to
  21. The Period/Year the player is registered in
  22. Type – This is the Registration Type and will display either Junior or Open.
  23. Click on DE-REGISTER player
  24. Message will be displayed showing the player has been deregistered.

NOTE: Clubs will not have access to De-Registrations from 2 May 2015.

Manually Register a Player
  1. Competition Management
  2. Players/Player list search
  3. Person Role: Select Player
  4. Registration Type: Select – Any Type or you can select Junior or Open to make the search easier.
  5. Alternatively you can search for the person’s name in the Advanced Search Criteria.
  6. Select: Display List
  7. List of players will be displayed alphabetically
  8. Double click on the player you wish to register.
  9. This will take you to a separate screen
  10. Under the grey headings you will see a Registration Tab – Select this Tab.
  11. As the player is not currently registered you will not see any Current Registrations under the Current Registrations heading.
  12. Go to the Add New Registrations heading.
  13. Parent Organisation: Select Wanneroo Districts Netball Association
  14. Select the Registration Period to the current year.
  15. Registration Type: Select the Registration Type: Junior, senior, Volunteer, Non Playing etc.
  16. Push Add Registration –
  17. Message will be displayed advising the player has been registered.
  18. The player/person is now registered and will be displayed in the Registration Manager.


Nominate Teams & Players into WDNA Competitions

Lodge a Team with WDNA – Closing date 1 April 2015.

  1. Competition Participation
  2. Teams/Nominate-Lodge Team
  3. Select: Team Entry Tab
  4. Select “Add New Team Entry”
  5. Takes you to a separate screen
  6. Entry Category: Select which Age Group and Division you wish to nominate your team into.
  7. Team Name: Please insert the name of the team and number for example Fever 1 Marigolds.
  8. Draw Requirements: This is not required for stage 1 – leave blank
  9. Comments Grading Request: Add any relevant information to assist graders.
  10. You can elect to choose Provisional or Confirmed. Note: All teams must be “confirmed” by 11.59pm E.S.T on 31 March 2015.
  11. Push Update
  12. To add further teams follow on from “Entry Category” dot points.
  13. If you make an error to the team this can be edited/confirmed/deleted at the “Add New Team Entry” point.
  14. You can display a total amount owed in Team Fees by selecting the “Reports Tab” which is the tab next to the Team Entry Tab.
  15. Invoices will be issued by WDNA by 20th April 2015.

Add Players to a Team Nomination – Closing date 31 March 2015

  1. Competition Participation.
  2. Teams/Nominate – Lodge Team
  3. Select: Team Entry Tab
  4. All of your teams that were nominated will be displayed.
  5. Select the Edit Team button of the team you wish to add players to.
  6. Takes you to a separate screen
  7. You will see two boxes
  8. Available Players – you can select the name of the player – push add and this will move the player to the Chosen Players Box.
  9. Chosen Player box will eventually have all of the players who are in this team.
  10. Note: Only those players currently registered will be able to be selected, if the players name is not displaying this usually means they are not registered.
  11. Once all players have been moved to the “Chosen Players” Box you can then push Save.
  12. Message displays stating items saved.
  13. All players must be selected and placed into teams by 31th March 2015 11.59pm EST.
  14. All Clubs will be permanently locked out of Club Team and Player Nominations on 1 April 2015.
  15. Changes can only be made by emailing

Reconfirm/Change a Persons Role in MyNetball

You cannot delete a person in MyNetball – you can allocate them to a “no role” within your club – this means that they will no longer be displayed on your player or person list. The only way to search for anyone within your organisation whether it be a Player, Umpire or a person with a no role is to select “any role” in your search.A person can have multiple roles within your club, for example Player, Umpire; you can add any number of roles to a person.All players should have a role whether it is as a Senior Player, Junior Player or NetSetGo Player.

  1. Competition Participation/People/Reconfirm Change Person Roles.
  2. A separate page will be displayed.
  3. Role Summary is displayed this gives you a breakdown of what roles and how many people you have with these roles within your Club.

To Remove a Players Role: (cleaning up your data)

  1. If you want to remove a Senior Player – Select Display All, next to Player Senior, likewise next to Player Junior or Player NetSetGo dependant on what role they have.
  2. A list of names will be displayed to the right.
  3. If you are cleaning up your data – for example allocating a group of players as a no role – you can select them individually by selecting the Box next to the name. Note I personally would not do more than 10 people at a time as the system sometimes doesn’t like it.
  4. Or if you are looking for a particular player to allocate a no role to you can do this by: In the grey shaded area you will see a white box with the words “Search” in it. Type the surname of the player you wish to remove. Then push enter.
  5. When the person or persons is displayed – push select
  6. To the left you will see a set of selections marked 2 and 3 and 4.
  7. As you want to remove a Players Role – Select Action 3 – Remove current Role/Sub-role from selected records.
  8. Then select Commit Changes
  9. The Players role has now been removed and the person has been allocated a “no role”.
  10. This now means that you will find they have moved from your Player List of either Junior, Senior or NSG players to a No role within your Role Summary.

To Add another role to a Person/Player

  1. If you want to add another role to a Senior Player – Select Display All, next to Player Senior, likewise next to Player Junior or Player NetSetGo dependant on what role they have.
  2. A list of names will be displayed to the right.
  3. In the grey shaded area you will see a white box with the words “Search” in it. Type the surname of the player you wish to remove. Then push enter.
  4. When the person is displayed – push select
  5. To the left you will see a set of selections marked 2 and 3 and 4.
  6. As you want to add a role to a player – Select Action 3 – Add Role/Sub-role to selected records of:
  7. Select the new role from the drop down box.
  8. Then select Commit Changes
  9. The Players has now been given additional roles within your club.

Select Actions

You can do the following:

  1. Re-confirm selected records with current Role/Sub Role (where applicable)
  2. Change Sub-role of selected records to:
