  1. I registered for a WebEx session but I didn’t receive any information on how to join the online meeting. Where do I go to login?

MFMP sends out all registration confirmations via the WebEx messaging system. Because of the volume of e-mails sent at once, this message may have been delivered to your SPAM inbox or trash folder. Check both mailboxes for a message from either: or .

If you still can’t find the message, simply visit select the MFMP meeting you’re looking for in the calendar displayed, and click “Join.” You’ll be prompted for your e-mail address and name; be sure to enter the exact e-mail address and name you registered with (Note: some of our events are restricted to those who registered due to popularity).

  1. I found the registration e-mail. Now what? How do I join the meeting?

You’re almost there! Scroll down in the e-mail to a section that looks like this:

Step 1:Simply click the link in #1 in the yellow highlighted information above, or copy and paste the actual URL into your browser. Click “Join Now” and enter the prompted information.

Step 2:Don’t forget to dial the teleconference number highlighted in blue! While WebEx offers a visual presentation of the meeting, it does not include audio. You must dial the phone number listed above, followed by the passcode to hear the presenters.

  1. I logged in, but now it’s asking me to download some software called “Productivity Tools.” What are these and what do I do?

Productivity tools are simply the software tools that run WebEx. Since WebEx streamlines both visuals and a presentation, you’ll need special tools to view the meeting. You must download the tools to view the meeting. This should less than 2-3 minutes, and is automatic.

  1. Can I download the Productivity Tools before the meeting?

Great question. Yes! Visit this link on the day of the meeting (10-15 minutes beforehand) and choose “Productivity Tool Set Up” on the left-hand side menu bar under “Support”, then click “Downloads.”

  1. I’m having trouble download the Productivity Tools. What do I do?

Some customers’ privacy settings or firewall may impact your ability to download these tools, especially if you’re not authorized as the desktop administrator on your own computer. If this is the case, please contact your local agency IT department or desktop support for help. Please do not contact MFMP. At this point, you’ll receive speedier help by just contacting your local support team for help.

  1. I am not able to join the meeting at all. What are my options?

If you have exhausted all of our tips & tricks for joining us online, you still can download the presentation and dial into our teleconference number to participate.

The presentation is always e-mailed out as an attachment on the confirmation e-mail, or is posted online at under ‘Buyer Training Opportunities.’

To hear the audio portion of the meeting, simply dial toll-free (888) 808-6969, passcode 9766076#.

You may want to consult your local IT desktop support team for help before the next WebEx session.

  1. I joined the meeting via WebEx, but don’t hear any sound. What do I do?

Make sure you dialed the teleconference number to hear the audio portion of the meeting. You can find this number either 1) In the e-mail confirmation (see FAQ #2); 2) As a prompt when you log in to WebEx; or 3) On the WebEx website at under ‘Buyer Training Opportunities.’

  1. How do I ask a question or participate in WebEx?

We love questions like this! Participating in WebEx is easy. You can use the ‘Chat’ function in the bottom right-hand portion of your screen. Type your question or comment, select the recipient (i.e. Host, Presenter or fellow participant) and hit send.

If you have a question you’d like to share out loud, you can use the ‘Raise Hand’ function right under the participant panel on the right-hand side. Be sure your line is unmated (press *6) in order to speak out loud and be heard by the Host.

  1. Why are we asked to mute our line? Can we still ask questions?

We often have more than 50 folks participating in each WebEx session. To avoid outside noise and office distractions, we ask that everyone temporarily mute their lines. This can be done by pressing *6. When it’s time to ask questions or offer feedback, simply press #6 to unmute.
