myBenefits Re-enrollment – It’s enrollment time starting today and open until 2016 March 17

The myBenefits online enrollment tool is now open for your bi-annual enrollment!
Our enrollment period this spring is an exciting one as in addition to WTEG, M-Scale, Broadband, and Executive employees, we welcome the following CRL union groups as new participants to the myBenefits program: Power Workers’ Union; USW 1568 (CRTT-Techs); USW 4096 (Local 896); USW 4096 (Local 404); CRPEG; IAFF-4 and CRNSOA.
For full-time and regular part-time employees in the above groups, spring 2016 represents another re-enrollment opportunity to review your choices and if necessary, make changes to your myBenefits option which will remain in place until 2018 March 31.
You may already know which of the 4 myBenefits options is best suited to the needs of you and your family or you may still be deciding. For more information, please visit myBenefits At A Glance on mycnl.
In order to make changes to your existing benefit plan you must first access the myBenefits Enrollment Tool. You access the tool byentering via myCNL/Employee Central/myHR. Simply log on to myHR and enter the Enrollment tool by clicking on myBenefits Tools. There, you will see 2 blue boxes one indicating Modelling Tool (allows you to sample different scenarios) and the other indicating Enrollment Tool.
Tips for the myBenefitstool:
-The modelling tool is open for you to calculate the best option and cost for you and your family.
-The enrollment tool is open until 2016 March 17 to submit your choice.
-You can access the enrollment tool as many times as you like between now and 4:00 pm2016 March 17, however, your most recently submitted election will be the one that is retained for coverage.
-If you elect Optional Insurance please make sure that you complete the required paperwork and submit it for processing.
-If you decide to change your beneficiary please remember to sign new beneficiary forms and send them to People Operations.
-Once you submit your selections you will receive an e-mail confirmation statement which confirms your myBenefits selections until 2018 March 31. Plan option changes will be effective 2016 April 1.
In the event you decide to maintain your current myBenefits coverage,there is no requirement to re-enroll through the myBenefits enrollment tool. For new entrants to the myBenefits plan, this means you will automatically be enrolled in the base plan, which is the same as your current coverage.
For new entrants, and any myBenefits participant who would like to attend, there will be information sessions on the myBenefits package, the Modelling Tool and the Open Enrollmentoccurring in the CRL Library on the following dates:
Thursday 2016 March 3 – 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Thursday 2016 March 10 – 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Wednesday 2016 March 16 – 11:30 am- 1:00 pm
There will also be an open enrollment informationsession scheduled for Whiteshell (WTEG and Non Bargaining employees) and Port Hope employees.The date, time and location of these sessions will be communicated as soon as they are finalized.
