Casey’s Story
My name is Patricia. My son Casey was diagnosed at age 3 with P.D.D. (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), as he was unable to talk. As a family, we gave Casey private speech lessons for 2 years at the end of which he was able to talk. Casey is a very loving child who doesn’t have any behavioral problems. His disabilities are learning, fine motor and gross motor. We give Casey private swimming lessons and private tutoring as Casey seems to excel better one on one. I work at a nursing home in Kingston and that’s where I met Laurie. The nursing home was having a Wellness Fair. I spoke with Laurie and we set up an appointment for her to come and visit. Laurie recommended the sleep system for Casey. She said they were having a lot of breakthroughs with children with Autism. Casey was a child who never slept through the night. I was up 2 or 3 times in the night. We borrowed the sleep system and after the 3rd night Casey slept through the night, as did I.!! It was wonderful. We ordered the sleep system for Casey and the insoles and we also drink the pi-water. We love the pi water!! Casey also now has the air purifier.
I had said to Laurie that she should take the sleep system home in case anyone else wanted to borrow it.
Our sleep system didn’t come right away so Laurie said I’ll bring it back until you get your new one. Casey asked Laurie, “When will you bring it back??” Laurie said, “Right away.” And Casey said “Oh, Thank goodness” He was very relieved.
He felt good sleeping with the sleep system and when he didn’t have it, he knew something great was missing.
When Laurie brought it back, Casey dragged the bag down the hall to his room. He was very excited.
Casey now sleeps through the night and wakes up alert. He recently has been getting up in the morning and does homework pages from his Disney Books.
We are so grateful to Laurie for showing us the Nikken products. We are not only grateful for that, but also because we have a great friendship with Laurie and her husband John.
I hope this story encourages more mothers that have children with Autism to give these products a try because they truly work.
