The Mt. Wolf Elementary PTO held its meeting on Monday, April 7, 2011, at 6:00 PM in the library.
Board members in attendance: Annie Gerber, Jenn Hoopes, Heather Knappenberger, Wendy Latshaw, Shelley Laughman, Angie Lucabaugh, Donna Orvis, and Teresa Wilson
Board members excused: Tammy Barlett, Shannon Hennel, Stacy Kurilla, and Randi Payne
PTO members present: Shannan Adams, Wendy Garman, and Kevin Orvis
Approval of Minutes
· The minutes from March 7, 2011, were distributed. Wendy Garman made a motion to approve the minutes and Shannan Adams seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion was carried.
President’s Report – Wendy Latshaw
· The following people are interested in the specified PTO Officer positions for the 2011-2012 school year.

A vote was taken and all were in favor for all candidates and positions.
· The following people are interested in the specified Committee leader positions for the 2011-2012 school year. The Santa Shop Committee has been dissolved and the Holiday Event Committee will take its place.

Vice President’s Report – Tammy Barlett
· No report
Treasurer’s Report – Donna Orvis
· The current checkbook balance is $11,139.63 with outstanding invoices from Kindergarten, and Second Grade fieldtrips, as well as from yearbook.
· A donation to Nixon Park for the First Grade fieldtrip was given, totaling $100.
· At this time, no fieldtrip requests were received from Second Grade.
Principal’s Report – Randi Payne
· No Report.
Teacher Representative – Teresa Wilson
· No Report.
Committee Reports
Membership – Stacy Kurilla
· No Report.
Fundraising – Tammy Barlett/Shannon Hennel
· The Papa John’s Fundraiser flyer will go home shortly.
Hospitality – Stacy Kurilla
· Teacher Appreciation will be the first week of May. Several ideas were discussed. Shannan Adams is looking into a possible luncheon.
· The snacks for the PSSAs went well with no reported problems.
Yearbook – Angie Lucabaugh
· 121 yearbooks have been sold, so far, and a total of $1626 was collected. The yearbook is closed and going to print.

Book Fair – Annie Gerber
· The Spring Book Fair will be held on April 28-29. It will be a buy one/get one free sale. This is not a fundraiser, but rather a service to the students and their families.
· We have a year to spend the profits made from the fall book fair.
Party Coordinator – Jenn Hoopes
· No report.
Bingo – Stacy Kurilla, Shannon Adams, and Shelley Laughman
· The Gift Card Bingo was held on Sunday, April 3, with a profit of $2,234. Many thanks to all the volunteers.

Wendy Latshaw adjourned the meeting at 6:55PM. The next meeting will be Monday, May 2, 2011, at 6:00 pm in the library.
