I am hoping to use an innovative online social network called “Busuu” in my classroom (there is some information about this program below). Because this is a social networking site, it involves connecting with people from all over the world; so, your child needs your permission to use this tool at school.

If for any reason your child posts inappropriate content on this site (swears/inappropriate language of a crude or sexual nature, inappropriate photos, etc.), she or he will not be allowed to use it in school. If this happens, you will be contacted and your child will not receive credit for any work done on Busuu. If for any reason your child receives inappropriate content through this social network, she or he is to contact me immediately so that I can contact the Busuu staff to make a formal complaint.
