We Are Learning About…

Reading –This nine weeks we are working on research projects. Within the next week your child will bring home information about our Wax Museum project which will be in December. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns. This is an exciting project for our 5th graders and I can’t wait to see how this year’s projects turn out.

Grammar and Writing-Correlative conjunctions, using commas in our writing, Informative Writing

Math- Multiplying and Dividing Decimals, Equivalent Fractions

Social Studies- The Great Depression and New Deal

Please check your child’s planner every night. We write our homework and other important information in it every day. It is very important that they are completing homework and turning it in on time. A loss of recess occurs when homework is not completed.
