All Liz McCarron’s cakes are freshly made to order, and are all home made using proper ingredients – real free range eggs, real butter for butter cream, and margarine with no trans-fats. They do not contain any artificial preservatives.
If your order is a celebration cake, a message of your choice can be piped free of charge. All cakes require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
I can now print photographs and pictures onto my cakes – ideal for a special celebration – all completely edible! I can add borders, speech bubbles or a message of your choice. Simply e-mail your copyright free photo or design to me at , or leave the photo in the shop when you place your order – be sure to include your phone number with your order so that I can discuss the design with you. Printed cakes are the normal cake price plus £3.95. This option is available only with chocolate cakes and Victoria sponges with butter-cream, and the topping underneath the printing will always be vanilla butter-cream as this doesn’t distort the picture. Printed cakes require 7 days’ notice.

Chocolate Cake
A rich chocolate sponge, sandwiched and topped with chocolate butter-cream, with either chocolate shavings or your own message piped on top.
Available in 3 sizes:
Standard £9.50 – 7 ¾” round cake – 14 generous slices
Large £14.25 - rectangular 10 x 6 ½” – at least 20 slices
Huge £19 – a 10” square cake – 30 slices no problem
Coffee & Walnut
Always a firm favourite. A sponge flavoured with real coffee, sandwiched and topped with coffee flavoured buttercream and lashings of walnuts. Your message can be squeezed in amongst the walnuts if required.

A classic Victoria sponge, sandwiched with strawberry jam, and finished with a sprinkling of icing sugar
