EMPINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL Meeting of the Planning & Development Committee held at the Methodist Church on Monday 8th July 2013 at 10.30 pm.

. PLANNING APPLICATIONS: No objection to any of the following planning applications.

1. 2013/0515/LBA

Proposal: Demolition of existing two storey extension and garage and construction of replacement two storey extension to side (east) elevation. Insertion of 3 No. Conservation roof lights to rear (north) elevation. Location: Nook Farm, 17 Nook Lane, Empingham, LE15 8PT

2. 2013/0499CAT

Proposal: Crown raise 1 No. Lime Tree to 3 metres.

Location: The Old Forge, 5, Main Street, Empingham, LE15 8PR

3. 2013/0500/CAT

Proposal: Reduce height by 4 metres and reduce lateral spread by 1 metre to 1 No. Western Red Red Cedar Tree.

Location: The Old Bakery, 8 Church Street, Empingham, LE15 8PN

Confirmation of Full Planning Permission.

Proposal: Construction of a single storey extension to rear( west) and side (south) elevation of dwelling house. Location: 1 School Lane, Empingham

6. REVIEW OF EMPINGHAM CONSERVATION AREA.

At this stage the discussion was on how we would go about this, it was agreed that village groups would be consulted and the Village Appraisal and Design Statement would be used.

7. PLAYING FIELD REPORT.

It was reported that football nets, donated by a resident have been left in situ for the summer. The Health and Safety report had been accepted and noted.

8. CEMETERY.

Margaret will meet Brian to look at the gravestones that need urgent attention.
