Featuring the WHINNEY HILL CHALLENGE 2016

Welcome

The North Down Branch of the Pony Club welcomes all competitors, parents, family and friends to the NFU Mutual Area 17 Tetrathlon Competition 2016 featuring the Whinney Hill Challenge.

We are delighted to be able to host this area competition at this excellent venue, Whinney Hill farm, home of Mr & Mrs John Perry.

The course has been designed and built by Jasper Demontmorency and ably assisted by Stephen McGlennon, A Mulholland& team.

I would like to thank the Official Steward Stuart Stirling, and my phase stewards, R Fynn, P Dewdney and J Keers.

The committee have all worked tirelessly and it is through the efforts of all that we can put on the competition today.

I would also like to thank the many past members and friends of the N Down branch who turn out on all these occasions when asked to fence judge, scribe, score, inspect tack, pick up poles, park lorries and many other tasks that may go unnoticed.

Please respect the facilities here today and leave everything just as you have found it. (Do not clean out your lorry/trailer and leave piles of manure in the fields and take Your Litter Home!)

Finally, I wish all competitors a safe and enjoyable competition.

Angela Fynn

District Commissioner.
