INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETION

1.1  Write in room or area name.

1.2  To be completed once sketch plans are finalised.

1.3  Number of this type of room throughout the total project.

1.4  Write in all functions likely to occur in the room and describe the manner in which these functions are undertaken.

1.5  Estimate maximum number of occupants for each activity undertaken within the room.

1.6  Also note any out-of-hours use.

1.7  Provide minimum internal height and either plan dimensions or minimum usable floor area.

2.1 Note any specific requirements – glazed panels/partitioning, sliding/retractable partitioning, viewing panels, paint, tiles, splashbacks, any particularly hard-wearing requirements.

2.2 Note preference and requirements for finishes - carpet, vinyl, tiles (noise reduction, cleaning ability, durability, etc.)

2.4 Also note ducted skirting if required.

2.5 Note any specific widths, type (double, single door and a half), heights. Note any special locks on doors, electronic locking systems, or card reader access, if required.

4.0 Note if AC is required for comfort or particular requirements, whether any equipment to the area has a heat load, if there is a preferred temperature for the room, or if there are any special requirements related to supply or control.

5.0 Note if any spotlighting is require to a particular area for a special purpose, activity or piece of equipment within the room. Do the various activities within the room require differing alternative levels of light or differing sets of controls for lights?

6.0 Note number of points required, any 3 phase or 15 amp outlets required, the need for emergency power or a continuous power supply, or the need for ceiling mounted equipment. 1 Phase/10amp are the standard outlets that will be provided.

7.0 Note whether digital or analogue, number of points and handsets, and any other specific requirements.

8.0 Note any requirements including whether wireless data is required.

9.0 Note requirements and any preferred characteristics to the items. Note requirement for curtains/blinds e.g. anti-glare, dim-out, blackout. Also note any projection screens or blinds that need to be motorised.
