The Maryland Association of School Personnel Administrators (MASPA), an affiliate of the American Association of School Personnel Administrators, held elections of officers for the 2012-2013 school year at their meeting on Friday, May 18, 2012.
The slate of officers elected are as follows:
  • Mr. Dale Farrell, Supervisor of Human Resources for St. Mary’s County Public Schools, was elected as President after serving as President-Elect for the 2011-2012 school year. Mr. Farrell has also held the offices of Secretary and Treasurer previously for the organization.
  • Mr. Ernesto Diaz, Director of Staff Relations for Howard County Public Schools, was elected as Immediate Past President after serving as President for the 2011-2012 school year. Mr. Diaz has also served as President-Elect during the 2010-2011 school year.
  • Dr. Sharron Credle, Supervisor of Human Resources for Calvert County Public Schools, was elected as President-Elect after serving as Secretary for the 2011-2012 school year.
  • Mr. Jeremy Campbell, Human Resource Specialist for Charles County Public Schools, was re-elected as Treasurer after serving as Treasurer for the 2011-2012 school year.
  • Dr. Alpheus Arrington, Director of Personnel for Baltimore County Public Schools, was re-elected as Membership Chairperson after serving as Membership Chairperson for the 2011-2012 school year.
  • Mrs. Jaime Patterson, Certification Specialist for Queen Anne’s County Public Schools, was elected as Secretary for the 2012-2013 school year.
The term of office begins on July 1, 2012 and ends on June 30, 2013.
The Maryland Association of School Personnel Administrators presents a unified voice on personnel issues for all of Maryland’s 24 public school systems and provides leadership in promoting effective human resources practices through professional activities and broad-based networking. In partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education, they host the Maryland Educational Recruitment Consortium (MERC). MERC is the premier teacher recruiting event for all 24 public school systems in Maryland.
