MORRICE SCHOOL DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTION
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS IN LOCKE TOWNSHIP WHO VOTE IN MORRICE SCHOOL DISTRICT:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AN ELECTION WILL BE HELD IN PERRY TOWNSHIP ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 8, 2017. THE POLLS WILL BE OPEN FROM 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
AT THE FOLLOWING POLLING LOCATION: Perry Township Hall, 2770 W Ellsworth Rd, Perry, MI 48872.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Morrice School district will be voting on the following millage proposal as presented and listed below:
MORRICE AREA SCHOOLS
GENERAL OBLIGATION UNLIMITED TAX BOND PROPOSAL
FOR BUILDING AND SITE PURPOSES IN THE AMOUNT OF
NOT TO EXCEED $1,950,000.

111 E. Mason Street, Morrice, Michigan 48857-9695.
Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the Perry Township Clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot. You may vote by absentee ballot if you:
Are unable to attend the polls without assistance; Are 60 years of age or older; Expect to be absent from your city or township for the entire time the polls are open on election day; Are in jail, awaiting arraignment or trial; Have been assigned to work as a precinct inspector in a precinct other than where you are registered; or Are unable to attend the polls because of religious beliefs.
All electors who are registered with the township clerk in which they reside are eligible to vote at this election. Sample ballots can be found at www.mi.gov/vote. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.
