Morning Watch The Recovery of the Church – Week 1 Nov 27-Dec. 3, 2017

Seeing God’s Eternal Purpose concerning the Church and Enlightening All concerning the Economy of the Mystery Hidden in God

Monday 11/27

Eph. 1:4-5, 9-11

4Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love,
5Predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

9Making known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Himself,
10Unto the economy of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him;
11In whom also we were designated as an inheritance, having been predestinated according to the purpose of the One who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Col. 1:9-10

9Therefore we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease praying and asking on your behalf that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10To walk worthily of the Lord to pleaseHimin all things, bearing fruit in every good work and growing by the full knowledge of God,

Eph. 5:17

17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

25Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, that is, the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which has been kept in silence in the times of the ages
26But has now been manifested, and through the prophetic writings, according to the command of the eternal God, has been made known to all the Gentiles for the obedience of faith;

Eph. 3:3-6

3That by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I have written previously in brief,
4By which, in reading it, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ,
5Which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in spirit,
6That in Christ Jesus the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the Body and fellow partakers of the promise through the gospel,

Job. 10:13

13But You have hidden these things in Your heart; I know that this is with You:

Gen. 1:26

Eph. 3:8-9

8To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel

John 1:18

Lord’s Day 12/3

2 Peter 1:3-11

3Seeing that His divine power has granted to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the full knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and virtue,
4Through which He has granted to us precious and exceedingly great promises that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption which is in the world by lust.
5And for this very reason also, adding all diligence, supply bountifully in your faith virtue; and in virtue, knowledge;
6And in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control, endurance; and in endurance, godliness;
7And in godliness, brotherly love; and in brotherly love, love.
8For these things, existing in you and abounding, constitute you neither idle nor unfruitful unto the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9For he in whom these things are not present is blind, being shortsighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his past sins.
10Therefore, brothers, be the more diligent to make your calling and selection firm, for doing these things you shall by no means ever stumble.
11For in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly and bountifully supplied to you.
