Morning Watch Lighting the Lamps in the Sanctuary of God by Serving as Priests Clothed with the Expression of God 9/12-18/16

Monday 9/12

1 John 1:5, 7

5And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from every sin.

Eph. 5:8

See Lord’s Day

John 12:36

36While you have the light, believe into the light, so that you may become sons of light. Jesus said these things, and He went away and was hidden from them.

Matt. 5:14-16

14You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city situated upon a mountain to be hidden.
15Nor do men light a lamp and place it under the bushel, but on the lampstand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
16In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

Phil. 2:14-16

14Do all things without murmurings and reasonings
15That you may be blameless and guileless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as luminaries in the world,
16Holding forth the word of life, so that I may have a boast in the day of Christ that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain.

Exo. 27:20-21

20And you shall command the children of Israel to bring to you pure oil of beaten olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.
21In the Tent of Meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall set it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah; it shall be a perpetual statute to be observed throughout their generations by the children of Israel.

Eph. 2:21-22

21In whom all the building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord;
22In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.

Luke 11:33

33No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it in the cellar or under the bushel, but on the lampstand, in order that those who enter in may see the light.

1 Cor. 14:24-26

24But if all prophesy and some unbeliever or unlearned person enters, he is convicted by all, he is examined by all;
25The secrets of his heart become manifest; and so falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that indeed God is among you.
26What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

1 Pet. 2:5. 9

5You yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

9But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired for a possession, so that you may tell out the virtues of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

John 1:4-5, 9

4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

9This was the true light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.

Rev. 21:23-24a

23And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine in it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
24aAnd the nations will walk by its light;

Psa. 36:7-9

7How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Thus the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
8They are saturated with the fatness of Your house, And You cause them to drink of the river of Your pleasures.
9For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

Psa. 73:16-17

16When I considered this in order to understand it, It was a troublesome task in my sight,
17Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their end.

Psa. 77:13

13O God, Your way is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a god as God?

Eph. 2:22

22In whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in spirit.

12Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Col. 2:9-10

9For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,
10And you have been made full in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority.

4Through which He has granted to us precious and exceedingly great promises that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption which is in the world by lust.

Rom. 11:17

17But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and became a fellow partaker of the root of fatness of the olive tree,

Phil. 3:10

10To know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Rom. 8:9

9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him.

1 Cor. 2:12-13

12But we have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is from God, that we may know the things which have been graciously given to us by God;
13Which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual things with spiritualwords.

2 Cor. 4:10-12

10Always bearing about in the body the putting to death of Jesus that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
11For we who are alive are always being delivered unto death for Jesus' sake that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12So then death operates in us, but life in you.

Exo 28:1-15 (1-3, 5)

1And bring near to yourself Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may serve Me as a priest - Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
2And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.
3And you shall speak to all who are wise in heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may serve Me as a priest.
4And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate and an ephod and a robe and a tunic of checkered work, a turban and a girding sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and for his sons that he may serve Me as a priest.
5They therefore shall take the gold and the blue and the purple and the scarlet strands and the fine linen,
6And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet strands, and fine twined linen, the work of a skillful workman.
7It shall have two shoulder pieces joined to its two edges, so that it may be joined together.
8And the skillfully woven band, which is on it for its fastening, shall be like it in workmanship, of one piece with it; of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet strands and fine twined linen.
9And you shall take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel,
10Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the remaining six on the other stone, according to their birth.
11With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the sons of Israel; you shall make them enclosed in settings of gold.
12And you shall put the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before Jehovah on his two shoulders for a memorial.
13And you shall make settings of gold,
14And two chains of pure gold; you shall make them twisted, a cordage work, and you shall put the chains of cords on the settings.
15And you shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of a skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet strands, and of fine twined linen you shall make it.

Gal. 3:27

27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

John 1:14

14And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality.

Heb. 1:3

3Who, being the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance and upholding and bearing all things by the word of His power, having made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Isa. 61:10

10I will rejoice greatly in Jehovah, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with the robe of righteousness; I am like a bridegroom who wears the headdress of the priest, And like a bride who adorns herself with her jewels.

Zech 3:4

4And He answered and spoke to those standing before Him, saying, Remove the filthy garments from him. Then He said to him, See, I hereby make your iniquity pass from you and clothe you with stately robes.

Lord’s Day 9/18

Eph. 5:8-10, 14-21

8For you were once darkness but are now light in the Lord; walk as children of light
9(For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
10Proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

14Therefore He says, Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.
15Look therefore carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissoluteness, but be filled in spirit,
19Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with your heart to the Lord,
20Giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ toourGod and Father,
21Being subject to one another in the fear of Christ:
