STATEMENT OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND THE DATE – Example: (We are excited to be hosting our first Bright Horizons Foundation for Children Walk On May 30, 2009. The event will begin at 9:30 am in Crossroads Center Court Area, walkers will proceed out to the park and then will wrap up back in the center court area of Crossroads. We are expecting over 300 Bright Horizons employees, families and community members to join in the Walk.)

There are more homeless children than ever before in our own community. Many of these children don’t have access to books, games and other materials that are essential for their healthy development and success in school and in life. ADD A STATEMENT OF HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED. EXAMPLE: (Through the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children Walk On, money will be raised to provide local homeless children with a Bright Space – a dedicated learning area where homeless children can enjoy the magic of childhood while gaining necessary skills that will help them do well in school and beyond.)

Bright Horizons is the world’s leading provider of employer – sponsored child care and early education. Through its support of the nonprofit Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, Bright Horizons teachers are helping thousands of homeless children, including those in our own community, prepare for success in school and in life.

How can you be a part of the event?

STATEMENT OF WHAT YOU WANT. (EXAMPLE - We are hoping to collect items from the merchants of Crossroads that will be raffled the day of our event. We will be sure to include your store information with the raffle item, should you be able to donate.)

Please consider this request. If you are able, we are happy to pick up your donation the week of DATE____. At that time, we will also provide you with a receipt of your donation for your tax purposes.

Should you have further questions, please feel free to call either of us. Otherwise, we will stop by during the week DATE____ to collect your donations.
