MONTGOMERY VILLAGE ART SHOW AND SALE May 5 & 6, 2018

Saturday, May 5: 9:00 am - Set up art work on club provided metal panels.

Saturday, May 5:Show open 10 am – 4pm

Saturday, May 5:4 pm - Take down and store club panels, hardware and personal art in designated space (TBD) or 9:00 – 10 am; Artists bring out panels, hardware and artwork from storage back to assigned artist spaces and set up.

Sunday, May 6:11:00 am - 4:00 pm Show open

This show is available to WASCO Members and selected guest artists. There are 18 spaces available to artists on a first received, first accepted basis.

  • Entry fee is $30.00. This covers two WASCO-supplied 3’ wide by 5’ high metal panels, for front and back hanging for framed work. Artists may bring one print bin, a small table (table cloth must cover to the ground), chair, umbrella and card rack if desired. Two (only two) artists can share a set of panels but only one print bin will be allowed. (If you plan to share, please send only one check for $30.00 indicating both artists names on the entry form). Artists can replace any sold work with another painting. Also, you can sell small crafts that you have made.

Note: Montgomery Village has a limited number of umbrellas, but they often use them in other parts of the Village, so we cannot count on their availability for our show.)

  • Artists will hang their own work, WASCO will supply the hooks. Artwork must be hung attractively with space between works. No artwork can be displayed on the ground. WASCO Exhibit Committee will have final say on how artwork is displayed.
  • No commission is taken from artwork sales at this show. NO SALES TABLE WILL BE AVAILABLE by the club, so artists must complete their own sales and collect appropriate tax.
  • Artists supply their own title cards, with artist's name, address, phone number, title of the painting and price to must be attach to or next to each piece of artwork. Bring hold-it putty or tape.
  • Spaces are assigned. Name signs for each artist will be provided by WASCO and attached to the panels Saturday morning. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 9:00 ON SATURDAY MORNING.

Artists must stay with their art work both days. No nudes, political or social commentary, or religious art will be allowed in this show.
