Entries Close - Thursday 21st April 2011. Entries only accepted with full payment. Entries may close early if classes are full. Late entries and entries on the day are only if classes are not full at the extra cost of £5.

Rosettes for 1st - 6th place in each class andPrizes for 1st - 3rd in each class.

Refunds - No Refund will be given after the closing date unless accompanied with a medical / vet certificate.

Number bibs - A £5 deposit will be required for your Number bib.

No horse or pony may complete more than 3 rounds.

Course open for walking Saturday 30th April from 4pm.

Conditions of Entry

The event will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Rules and will be judged over an optimum time.

Age of riders on 1st January 2011 Hunting jackets or Cross Country colours should be worn. Long sleeves are compulsory. Hats must be worn at all times when mounted with chin straps fastened. PAS015 1998, EN 1384 1996, BSEN 1384 1997, All with BSI Kitemark. Snell E2001 with official Snell label & number. AS/NZS 3838 1998 or AS/NZS 3838 2003 with SAI Global. Are all permitted. Please note that SEI is not approved for Pony Club Competitions. For XC riding a jockey skull cap with no fixed peek must be worn when riding over fences 0.80cm in height. It is highly recommended that a jockey skull cap is worn for XC riding over lower fences. PC members must have hats with a hat tag. Earrings and any other body jewellery must not be worn. Stop watches are not permitted. Body protectors and medical arm band must be worn.

In the event of 3 refusals at any one fence the rider will be eliminated but may continue at the discretion of the fence judge and not impeding any other competitor in any way. However after a total of 4 refusals the competitor must leave the course. If a competitor receives first aid on the course they may only continue if the paramedic believes they are fit to do so. Any misuse of the whip, failure to obey an order from a judge or steward or discourteous behaviour may result in elimination.

The organisers reserve the right to close or cancel a class or the event, refuse an entry, withhold a prize or disqualify a competitor for any reason they deem necessary. In the event of cancellation £2 Per entry will be retained for admin costs

The judge’s decision is final. Objections must be handed to the secretary, in writing, with a £10 deposit. This may be retained if objection is not upheld. Any Objections must be placed within 15minutes of the results being posted.

The Pony Club Third Party Legal Liability does not apply to those who are not members of the pony club. The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.

Legal Liability : save for death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or any one whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accept any liability for any accident or loss to owners, riders, spectators, land, cars and their contents and accessories or in any other way whatsoever.
