Job Title / Fundraising Administrator
Reports to / UK Fundraising Support Manager
Location / DEBRA House, Crowthorne
Purpose / To provide an efficient and effective administration to the Fundraising Team and a central point of contact for supporters.
Principle Objectives
Administer Fundraising activities as required including:
  • Providing a central entry point for supporters and event participants to the Fundraising Team;
  • Monitoring online donation notifications and flag donations to interested parties as appropriate;
  • Monitoring fundraising and events email inboxes;
  • Updating contact history in Progress for all donations;
  • Maintaining supporter records in Progress and become DEBRA Super User for the Fundraising Team;
  • Logging all returned mail from appeals and mailings;
  • Thanking for donations;
  • Maintaining event administration e.g. database entry, invoicing and monitoring Sales Invoice spreadsheet for outstanding payments
  • Sending packs and materials to supporters and event participants as and when needed;
  • Monitoring marketing materials stock, including fulfilling online shop orders for marketing materials;
  • Assisting with event preparation, e.g. preparing auction vouchers, pledge cards etc;
  • Producing post-event administration, e.g. thank you letters and updating of Progress;
  • Managing email lists, maintenance of mailing system and preparation of mailings;
  • Supporting focused and targeted fundraising campaigns aimed at core income streams across the UK.
Miscellaneous
  • Attending Fundraising Team and other DEBRA meetings as necessary;
  • Assisting with DEBRA events as appropriate;
  • Undertaking other duties at the direction of the UK Fundraising Support Manager, Fundraising Operations Manager, Director of Fundraising and other members of the Fundraising Team as required.
