  • Freshman Class Dues:Mr. Bella will be collecting dues until 6/20.
UPCOMING Trips/EVENTs
  • To participate in school activities/trip, you MUST:
  • Be in good academic standing/Behave appropriately in school/Dress appropriately to school. Students with attendance issues (including tardies), discipline referrals (including class cuts), in danger of failing any class for the year will not be permitted on the Lake Compounce trip.
  • Senior class trip is June 19th. We leave for Six Flags at 9:30 and return around 7p.m.
  • The trip is open to all seniors in good academic and disciplinary standing. The cost is $20. Get permission slips outside 401 or at lunch.

  • Ms. Lewin is giving Jolly Ranchers for each overdue book returned between now & end of the year.
OPPORTUNITIES
  • Spain 2018 Trip Informational Meeting
    Students who are interested in participating in the 2018 trip to Spain next school year are asked to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, June 8th at 2:30 in Room 202.Students will be provided information on itinerary and costs and will have an opportunity to ask questions of students who attended this school year. If you attended the last informational meeting, there is no need to come to this meeting.
  • Deadline: June 6th: Artspace Summer Apprenticeship Program: Open to all grade levels. Each year, Artspace invites 15-18 New Haven high school students into its galleries for three weeks to work as apprentices with a professional artist. This year students will work with acclaimed photographer Nona Faustine to create a major exhibition.They are looking for students who are interested in social justice, art, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn.

NYC CAS 2017 TRIP PERMISSION INFORMATION

Students going on the trip:

  • Students must rank 3 of the 4 activities. Students may not switch activities after they have turned in the NYC Trip Permission Form.
  • Students are responsible for their own food on this trip. All groups will have the opportunity to purchase food during the trip. We recommend bringing $10 - $20 for these types of purchases and bringing snacks and water from home. If this cost may be a hardship for your family at this time, please talk to Ms. Pugh about options.
  • NOTE: All students are responsible for their own money. Neither CAS nor the school will investigate the loss of any money or other personal property on the trip.
