June 21 Thrivent Community Event in German Park. Many things going on tonight: Concert by the Futons, care packaging for children in need, park and rec bounce houses, National Guard climbing wall, Rec on the Go wagon, FREE ice cream treats, non-profit fair for community organizations—including ARS! 5:30 -7:30 p.m. FREE
June 28 Bowling Banquet, dinner and awards ceremony 5:30 p.m. in the Cafetorium at the Community Center. Cost is $10.00 for the dinner—Gutes Essen will be catering tonight: meatballs with gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, a dinner roll, fresh fruit and a beverage. Even if you aren’t a bowler, you are invited to join us. RSVP is a must for this event to allow for enough food….Please call to let me know you are coming!

TWINS TICKETS ARE HERE! ARS has been selected for Twins Tickets for the Wednesday, August 1st, 12:10 game against the Cleveland Indians. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT! PLEASE GET YOUR $20.00 TO ME BY JULY 20 SO YOUR SPOT IS GUARANTEED. I do have a waiting list and have asked for more tickets----we will wait and see.
BOWLING BANQUET: The bowling banquet has been scheduled for June 28th at 5:30 p.m. We will have dinner and an awards ceremony. Please call to reserve your spot today, don’t just show up…..we want to have enough food. You do not have to be a bowler to attend. The cost for the meal is $10.00.
Upcoming Cooking Class Dates: ARS has again been chosen as a recipient of the Allina Neighborhood Grant. Cooking classes will be added to the calendar.

*The ARS Jumbo Freeze Pop Fundraiser will be underway again this summer. Look for our “booth” at the concerts in the park and other community events. Freezies are only $1.00.
