Monday, August 30th- Soirée de poésie on campus at 8pm. The location will be the Leadership room inside the StudentCenter. The topic of this soirée will be the poetry of Jacques Prévert. Several students from the French Club will read poems and interpret them for the audience. Afterwards, Dr. Griffin will speak about French poetry and there will also be time for everyone to enjoy refreshments and converse with each other. If you are interested in reading a poem, please let Sarah Terry know.
Saturday, August 28th- La Madeleine at 6pm (2850 Paces Ferry Rd.Atlanta, 30339-770-434-3900). We will be getting together for good food and French conversation. Transportation from KSU will be provided upon request.
Friday, September 3rd- French movie on campus from 6pm to 8:30pm. The location will be the Buruss Building 114. Popcorn will be provided.
Saturday, September 11th- Hiking trip to Pine Mountain, Georgia. Transportation will be provided from KSU. We will leave campus at 8am and return to campus around 2:30pm. You will need to bring a large bottle of water and something to eat for lunch.
Monday, September 13th- French discussion group on campus from 8pm to 9pm with Sarah Terry. We will be working on our French as we discuss a specific topic. This conversation group is appropriate even for beginners. Everyone is welcome. The location will be the Buruss Building 132. The topic will be announced closer to the date. Feel free to bring food.
Tuesday, September 14th- French discussion group on campus from 12:30-1:30 with Ernesto Johnson. This conversation group will be discussing current events and may be a little more advanced than the evening discussion group, however; all levels are welcome. This group will be meeting outside whenever possible, so the location is to be announced. Feel free to bring a lunch.

Saturday, October 9th- Bowling at US Play in Kennesaw from 2pm to 4pm. We will be providing transportation from campus upon request. The estimated cost will be $13 for two hours of bowling. For directions, call US Play at 770-427-7679.
